Maybe both Tuch and Bjork are scratched and they play with eight defenders.

Edit: Tuch and Attard.

I can think of a million things how I could have spent 20 minutes better than watching this period of hockey.

Power play is anemic. Need to go to the net and wait for it....someone has to shoot lol.

It seems they are just trying to move the puck to feed Cutter, that isn't going to work..

Garland needs to step up here and I would prefer Tuch infront of the net to use his frame to screen and use his strength to box out the defenders.

I do really like that Sweden is the final game before the semis. That will put this team in its place right in time for lose and go home scenarios. They just look flat and disinterested. Nobody is showing that edge we saw the first 2 games...

We do have to also understand that teams like this, with a lot of young talent can tend to play to their oppositions level. I know the vets we have aren't looking great either but in a short tourney like this it can happen.

They came out flying against Finland and hopefully will do the same with Sweden. All the other games in between are pretty much for getting linemates used to one another, gelling as a unit, and working out the kinks.

We all want them to look like killers every game but I don't think that is realistic. Canada seems to be having similar games too.

Yeah this is not nothing new obviously but It would be still nice to see sometimes that they would show up against weaker teams. Tuch and Garland have been pretty average since game against Finland. We are wiser after the game against Swedes.
