Good game, the Germans have a lot of heart. Great to see how far they’ve come. We’ll see how the US responds.

Inexperience showing, too much skating around with heads cut off. Need to try and escape this period and re-group

Germany always has the label of "tournament team". In any sport, the athletes can reach new heights and overcome more adversity.

Other than that perceived aspect, we have a golden generation of hockey talent here and they need to reward themselves with a title in these coming years.

Germany has not been a tournament team for a long time. Not in football, basketball, handball, volleyball, etc. Now, for once, in ice hockey. But I don't think that lasts long. Football is too dominant in Germany for that. Germany has deteriorated overall in sport.

That has very rarely been the case in ice hockey though. Very, very rarely. How many finals in the history of the world championships? The occasional surprise win against a good opponent, but usually nothing special. Different in football of course, where Germany has always been a great Turniermannschaft (though not so much recently). But in this tournament, they have been excellent so far and deserve to be in the semifinals. Good luck tonight, great effort to tie the game.

Of course. We never remotely had the talent we have now.

Draisaitl is a top 3 scorer in the world and Seider might be one of the best defenseman in the world very soon.

Good luck to you too.

USA needs to win the 5 on 3 so they can skate backwards a bit and fire the puck down and kill off the bulk of the remainder of the 5 on 3.

German's have been a nightmare all tourney... what is their worst loss? 1 goal? They don't go away and they've been competitive with everyone! Swedes, Finns, Swiss and now US. Very well coached and play nice.

Yes, this generation is excellent and as I said, they are showing it at this year’s tournament.
