Maybe the Sabres should sign Grimaldi, he and Tuch work well together. Heh.
Is it overly crazy to think Grimaldi would warrant consideration for a 13th spot on an Olympic team? He really plays well in this thing. I know the politics of it all would keep him off but if I were in charge I’d at least consider.
Canada in medal rounds is a whole different team regardless of the roster quality or how they look in group stages.it's sure looking like the u.s year, had to happen sooner or later
Yes that’s part of what I knew with the politics of it all. One 4-3 loss to Canada and you’ll have people screaming “well of course that happened when you bring an AHL player over [guy who has never showed up to a world championship that had 70 points in the NHL the prior season]”It’s pretty crazy.
People still talk about Rob Zamuner on the 1998 team and it’s not like it was his fault that Canada lost.
Germany and US fan bases don't exactly travel well for IIHF tournaments and the game is being played in Finland.Crowd looks quiet and small
True of course but that team sure has problems creating offense and this U.S team defense has turned pretty mint and they can all fly.Canada in medal rounds is a whole different team regardless of the roster quality or how they look in group stages.
They don’t have rights to USA or Canada games, which nhl network does (and they just use the tsn stream).Just have to say how obnoxious it is that almost this entire tournament is streamed via ESPN+ and then you get to today and ... good luck. No dice.
Hockey is the dumbest sport.
