we draft this guy and don't sign him.

http://www.hockeyfights.com/fights/120428

he might not be that good of a dman but he sure is nasty...no need for that in our system...let's make sure we sign Ryan Bourque.

The more I think about it the more I am done with this team.

I hate Dolan.

I hate Sather.

I hate Clark.

I hate AV.

I hate Richards.

etc...

Because they didn't sign Dan Maggio? Seriously? He is a bad AHL d-man, let alone NHL prospect. The AHL team has no issue fighting, that would be a wasted contract. Jeez, take a step back and take a breath.

Toughness is important.

Having a bunch of fighters who can't do anything else is not. Jeez

right...that is why I hate the Rangers.

Maybe I hate them because they are middle of the pack team with no depth at any position in the entire organization.

They have good depth in terms of wingers actually.

Hrivik
Fast
Kreider
Miller
Kristo
Yogan
Kantor

They lack puck movers and centers.

I agree they need to add some truculence to their system. McIlrath and Kantor are not enough. I'm hopeful for Beach to turn himself around. They need some crazy.

I'm hopeful they sign Bollig or Reaves in the off-season as well.

I don't understand the Bollig love. He's a ****ing terrible hockey player. He's almost as stupid as Pouliot, has those trademark offsides at least 3 times a game. Take stupid penalties, and is an *ok* fighter. He has 7 points but that's not the norm for him.

Screams :typical Sather signing: to me.

Your answer is akin to "they have good depth because they have these prospects I can name"

Its tiresome.

Lets call Avery :sarcasm:

He's been very active on twitter after the Thornton/Orpik incident, of course calling Orpik a *****, and Thornton doesn't deserve a suspension...

I would love either one of those guys...they need to change the entire process when it comes to drafting....IMO

Except for Kreider, who can play in the NHL consistently on that list? This team doesnt have depth. Look at St.Louis, they have depth

Yes, that's a good way to figure out what is needed moving forward.

I dont get paid by the Rangers. If/when they make it to the NHL, I will watch these guys and make an opinion.

Judging by the Rangers long track record, my suggestion is to take those names for what they eventually wind up being - false hope.

Where are the future NHLers on our AHL team? Other than Miller who is also questionable

McIlrath. Fast. Lindberg.

I think that outside of Miller, those 3 will be NHLers.

Hrivik and Allen have less of a chance but have a decent shot.

Yogan and Kantor long-shots.

St Croix, Noreau, etc very small chances.

hahahaha ding ding ding...

over-hyped mediocrity=the ranger way...

I really want McIlrath called up... he is the only guy in our system that can actually give us exactly what we need...and I'm not just talking about fighting. I'm talking about having a pair, along with size. Dorsett has a pair, but is small. Boyle has size, but is a huge sissy and gets embarrassed every time he fights or gets into any altercation, really.

McIlrath won't stand around while our guys routinely get their bells rung, like the rest of the Marys in our lineup.

so a ref misses a call on a hit and you wouldnt want the Rangers to do anything during the game if their is no powerplay :help:

only 2 mins on the play and McDonagh got hurt. not one person did anything towards the end of the game..

Lundqvist gets knocked down... Hollweg goes over and does something about it

where is the intensity of sticking up for each other??

This would be the wrong way to go. He needs to keep developing his game with big minutes in the A this season. Clark selected him specifically for his size and edge, and his potential is exactly what this team needs. But are you prepared to bring him into a soft, inconsistent, uninspired locker room and run the show? Every tough guy on every team is going to try and fight him. Is that the kind of environment and roll that you want Dylan to play right off the bat of his NHL career? This is how you ruin prospects.

You don't think Kristo has a shot or did you just forget about him?
