Kahun, Grubauer, Seider, Stutzle, Dr Drai, Peterka, Reichel and Sturm are all locks for Olympics so i dont expect any of them to come to WC. But should be a good team anyways, lots of good Germans in DEL.

I'm sorry, but it's stupid to say that. The Olympics have nothing to do with the decision of the players to go to the World Championships or not. German hockey players always strive to get into the national team. What can stop Peterka, Reichel and Seider? They always accept the invitation. This year will be no exception.Kahun, Grubauer, Seider, Stutzle, Dr Drai, Peterka, Reichel and Sturm are all locks for Olympics so i dont expect any of them to come to WC. Grubauer confirmed his participation already. Reichel and Seider (if Detroit misses the playoffs) are likely . Peterka is in the same situation Seider was last year with RFA-status and will probably not come.
This Monday the Men's national team into the second phase of World Cup preparations. For the road trip to Slovakia, National coach Harold Kreis three players, thus changing the squad compared to the first week together. In defense, Tobias Fohrler and Lukas Kälble (both Adler Mannheim) is now part of the team, Tobias Rieder (Red Bull Munich) is joining the national team for the offensive.
Wasn't sure how close Munzenberger would be getting to a spot. Not close enough I guess. In addition, Rausch and Münzenberger are the only players from the first roster, who will not be part of the second phase
Szuber and Lutz are presumably available. Will they get invites?
