What is that realism and reality where that list is based on?

Your list is so unrealistic what comes to names
Järventie, Borgström, Seppälä, Kinnunen, Niemeläinen, Salo, and Puustinen.
What those guys have done into AHL to get locked roster spot to IIHF worlds this year?

Järventie, Puustinen, and Seppälä 0 games in NHL this year.
And those guys should be select to IIHF worlds? not gonna happen.
Are you joking or are you seriously too high after smoking too much weed?

Even if Panthers season ends to after regular season i don't see Barkov to join IIHF worlds team.
Injuries and civil-life problems have screwed up Barkov's season so i'm 99,99% sure of that he'll skip IIHF worlds.
Maccelli, Ylönen, and Borgström are also out
of IIHF worlds due to contract negotiations.

Järventie hasn't showed jack-shit after August 2022 U20 WJC's
and you are taking him to IIHF worlds just because he was good in U20 WJC's.
If you are so eager to bring young guys from AHL to IIHF worlds without NHL games
then how about bringing in Brad Lambert from WHL after his all struggles in AHL and U20 WJC's?
( ^^ Yeah that won't happen so think again and look how idiotic and brain-dead your idea was )

Armia and Pärssinen are both injured and there isn't any updates or schedule when those guys are back.
So prepare to disappoint to wait Armia and Pärssinen to join IIHF worlds team
those guys aren't coming 99,99% likely if they aren't healthy
and allowed to play before IIHF worlds.

Only realistic names from NHL are right now
Lundell
Luostarinen
Laine
Husso
Lankinen
Määttä
Välimäki
Jokiharju
Saros
Ristolainen?
Kapanen?
Granlund?
Luukkonen?

And someones of these guys if their teams are eliminated after 1st NHL playoff round.
Rantanen
Lehkonen
Teräväinen
Aho
Kotkaniemi
Puljujärvi
Tolvanen
Haula
Heiskanen
Lindell
Hintz
Hakanpää
Kiviranta.
Kakko

Next time check the facts ( contract situations, injuries etc ) first before making lists like that.

May I ask, what are these "Barkov's civil life problems"? I haven't been following Finnish sport news in the recent months as much as I usually do so I've probably missed something.

He's had some issues with his baby's mama over their child. Also, Lankinen signed a one year contract earlier this year so he is good to go until end of 2023-2024.

Hopefully we finally move on from Ohtamaa, he looks terrible, even at Liiga level. Anttila is kinda hard to say, he's not done much for his club team for many years but somehow looks better with the national team.

From Europe I hope Suomela and Oksanen at least get a camp invite.

Every year some people question Anttila. He will be in the final team no matter how bad he plays with his club and I'm personally okay with him being in the team as long as the gold medals keep coming. He's the Tuomo Ruutu of this era with his presence bringing medals, but in Anttila's case it's usually gold medals. Anttila probably isn't the real reason behind the latest gold medal but he has some kind of positive leadership effect on the national team whenever he's in those teams.

He's a special case and I want to see him ride this until we get a disappointing result. Silver medal might actually be disappointing enough result for me to be okay with starting the discussion about next years team not featuring Anttila. Who knows, maybe Anttila will quit his NT career after the next tournament anyways. He's quite old for a hockey player.

Entirely possible the euro Finn's are superior to the AHL ones.. but if I had to choose between a combo of:.

NHL czechs and AHL Czechs

Or

NHL czechs and euro Czechs.

I take AHL Czechs and NHL czechs.

1. Dostal is better than any Czech euro goalie
2. Jiricek, Kral, knot and galvas I think are better than anything in Europe too
3. Forwards probably are worse... We'd lose cervenka, Spacek, chlapik and Kovar (3 of whom were AHL players and never cracked NHL) vs blumel, Kulich, rousek and Lauko/jenik/kaut.
4. Bring on Fri.lol

Soumela and Oksanen have very good chemistry, they should be paired together. Would be good 3rd liners.

Nashville is pushing for a playoff spot but had a loss to Chicago last night. Could mean no Saros.

If they make the playoffs they could be dangerous but loss like that hurts.

Kuokkanen's situation is depend on that how many NHL guys Finland gets to IIHF worlds this year.
If there isn't many NHL players coming then Kuokkanen might be in the team.
That's what i meant. At moment we expect that Barkov and Laine joins the team since their season will end soon, since both are under contract and it's their last chance ever to play in WHC in their hometown. Next time when Finland is going to host this tournament, the new arena in Helsinki should ready and the tournament is going to held there. We can also expect that Barkov and Laine joining the team creates domino effect and other NHL players joins as well, rest of the spots goes to euro-familiars. Kinda hard to cut them out after many successful tournament. At the moment, there's no suitable role for Kuokkanen but everything can and most likely will change.

Florida also has a chance to make the playoffs. Just 3 points behind Islanders with two games in hand. I think it's more likely that Florida makes the playoffs than Nashville 'cos they weren't sellers at the deadline.

Florida Panthers has one of the worst defences in NHL.
Hard to see they go further than 1st round.

Barkov probably won't join to IIHF worlds roster.
He's had injuries and civil life problems with his baby's mother ( custody problems etc )
so i have a feeling he'll skip IIHF worlds to get some rest and time with his family and baby.

Lundell is welcome.
Luostarinen probably skips IIHF worlds too due to contract negotiations.

YES Laine would be huge add.
Now lets pray that he stays healthy.

Finland has never won skoda gold with an NHL goalie. Not worried about Saros coming or not. 1995 with Jarmo Myllys. 2011 with Petri Vehanen. 2019 with Kevin Lankinen (was not an nhl goalie at the time). 2022 with Juho Olkinuora. If Saros comes then great, if not we can still win.

I'd like to see Lankinen / Saros splitting the workload before playoffs.

Motivationwise:
Lankinen has already won it and winning it for the 2nd time would be huge
Saros has not won it and his motivation winning it for the 1st time could be huge

Of course Laine gets injured. His participation is definitely on the line now. Columbus likely won't allow him to go even if he recovers in 4 weeks.

It's nice to see Armia back and playing again last night after a break and it increases hopes that he would be in the WHC team.

Florida, Pittsburgh and Buffalo are battling hard for a wild card spot(s) and few of them might drop out, so that's very interesting. Kapanen's St. Louis is pretty much out, so hoping that he joins. Last night wasn't good for Kappy but in the other games he's been doing well with St. Louis.

Honestly I'm pretty sure Laine will play the last few games for cbj this season. He will be healthy and on time
