Are Räsänen and Vaakanainen confirmed to miss the tournament? Or could they join if they get healthy in time? Trying to get a overview of injuries here.

Räsänen probably confirmed out because he wasn't on the plane to North America. I don't think anyone comes who is playing in Europe anymore.

Vaakanainen is not confirmed yet.

Any more information on Lundell and Nordgrens injuries?

Lundell was traveling with the team so probably nothing serious.

Okey then we can probably count him in. I wonder if Kakko will play center or not, we already have an strong center core so if Kakko isn't like a lot better as center i don't really see the point. Kupari,Lundell,Talvitie and Virtanen is plenty good. My biggest question about the lineups is who will play with Kupari and Heponiemi. Nyman played with them in the training tournament in November and did well. But it feels like the line would be to light. Other options are maybe Tolvanen (if he comes), Ranta, Lundell and Kakko. Who do you guys feel would be the best option to compliment Kupari and Heponiemi?

Well Heponiemi has played right wing in Liiga this season with Kupari, but it may not be a big thing to move him to left wing. But otherwise yes, Kaako would be the perfect fit.

As a LW (at least before this season) he played so much better what to his off wing,
its just that...coaches loves to play their players off wing. - left handed shot player plays RW and vice versa.

and completely forget the idea of putting Kakko to play center, because that would be a huge mistake,

That Nordgren didn't travel to Canada with Finland's team should tell something.
Don't hold your breath to wait see Nordgren in these world juniors.

He has played on the third line but now when Nordgren is injured he might take his spot in the second line. I think Ylönen played on the second PP unit.

I don't think it really means anything to be honest. I think he was already named to the preliminary roster before the injury even happened.
