I'm gad to not have Gallagher. I would like to see Drouin invited, he has a lot more to offer than he has shown in Montreal this year.
only at LW, certainly not as a Center. and only if about 4 others decline or not available after rd. 1. Benn, Hall and Schwartz. I said to you a few months ago, if he and MacKinnon want to rekindle their Halifax magic...then that's fine.
but he does have a lot to prove. I just haven't got the confidence in him you seem to have.
If Tavares GO in Denmark . This be fantastic for Canada. Tavares big patriot for Canada.

Don't look too bad at all.Drouin-McDavid-MacKinnon - looks awesome

What don't you like about Gallagher? He is all hustle and can score goals, he gets his nose dirty.
I am with you on Drouin, I hope he gets an invite. I am still a believer in the kid and I think he could be a real good weapon over there for us, he's got the skills, just needs to put things together. This tournament could really help him after a bad first year experience playing centre in Montreal, stick him at his natural wing at this thing and put him with good players and let him go.
Yeah, you've got a good point there on Gallagher.Gallagher was the worst forward on the team in 2016 (by a decent margin in my estimation) and I hated his performance at the 2012 WJC. His style just doesn't suit international hockey and he doesn't have the talent to compensate. Drouin is a very high end talent, and the reward if he puts it together for a few weeks is far greater than the risk of him floating around on the fourth line if he doesn't.
I agree they would be good additions, but disagree with your assessment of Tampa. I think they are a good team and will be dangerous.Point and Stamkos would be wonderful additions and I think they would be inclined to play.
Tampa stinks right now and have for over a month at least now, I would lay pretty good money they are getting bounced first round.
Really?I agree they would be good additions, but disagree with your assessment of Tampa. I think they are a good team and will be dangerous.
Yup, they beat them tonight and took over first place in their division to boot. They seem to be going through their rough patch. I wouldn't l;look past them.Just after I wrote that I watched the bruins rag doll them like minor leaguers for a 3-1 lead.
Tampa looks BAAAAAD. They just look like a team that has totally lost it and don't have any answers for what ails them.
Who knows, can't count them out because of the talent they have but to me right now they look like a team whose confidence is totally shot.Yup, they beat them tonight and took over first place in their division to boot. They seem to be going through their rough patch. I wouldn't l;look past them.
That is your right. For, as a Leaf fan we have to go through Boston and/or Tampa to even have a shot at a final.Who knows, can't count them out because of the talent they have but to me right now they look like a team whose confidence is totally shot.
I would not lay a plum nickel on them winning the cup.
