TDL wish list, who, what, how many?

International achievments are difficult to use because Canada still has the upper hand so often.

Nylander has been impressive internationally, and never played in the CHL, so we can't know what he would have done.

They have had pretty equal playoff success at the NHL level.

JT has the edge on career right now. It will be interesting to see how it all ends up.

Taveras is a Hall of Fame shoo in, doubt Styles gets there, but he'll end up making more money and for some that's what it's all about.........

Dont feel bad....Anderson of the habs has made 30 mil in is career and doesnt even have 90 assists in his career ...and only scored over 20 twice

Gallagher is even worse.
 
Tavares has never been close to the impact player Willy has been this season. Signed at the same age for the same % of the cap, give me Willy every single time at the age of 28-35.

There is absolutley nothing you have to back up a ludicrous claim like 1000 per cent. You have no idea what will happen and you make claims based on what everyone said before, which means nothing. If they lose first round your words are hollow hot air. If they clean house anything can happen , including a new Gm not wanting to overpay Marner. Now that is 1000 per cent you can bank on.

You realize they are signed next season too with full NMCs right? There is 100% chance the core 4 have this season and next at minimum. Only hope we have in some impact chances next season are Tavares going on LTIR until playoffs like all the winners do these days.

I know. If they choke this playoffs all bets are off. Shanahan will be fired and a new GM will have no loyalty to these overpaid players.

FYI, Marner is signed for net year.

No there isnt. If they play badly this playoffs there will be big changes. A new Gm could simply trade Nylander and refuse to pay Marner. Dont forget losing all the time has consequences.

How tf will he trade Nylander with a full NMC? And Marner is still signed next season with a full NMC too. This season and next, at minimum.

LOL, right on the Leafs learned nothing and screwed themselves again. Everyone has a NMC. Now thats just plain stupid. No wonder the leafs are the biggest loser sports organization on the planet. Pay them like they have won, protect them even if they suck, then wonder why they always lose? This team is screwed. Even after they lose again this year, there isnt much can be done, except lose again next year.This team hasnt even come close and is handcuffed.`They force themselves to overpay Marner even if they suck again! Complete idiots. This organization is pathetic.

Tavares is not a shoo in at all. I do believe he gets there but not first ballet.

Willy will have in and around the same amount of points as JT when he reaches the same amount of games JT has played now. Would he be considered a shoo in?

The sun could fall out of the sky, as well. I think there is as much chance of that happening as there is Treliving being fired after one season.

To get back to what I think is supposed to be the subject of this thread: I hope the Leafs don’t make too many more trades. I think that the last couple of years the Leafs made so many trades that team cohesion suffered. It was asif they had gone back to training camp and had to get to know one another again.

Probably had a lot to do with them reacquiring Boosh, they know him, he knows the team. Having said that they need another RHD who hopefully will mesh with the team on a run……..

If they lose first round Shanahan will get launched and his hires will likely be joining him. That new guy starts in April.

The TD is almost always too late for new guys to gel and settle in.
 
If we’re doing anything that will require double retention Tre probably shouldn’t wait much longer.
