It kind of is.
Only really bad management would think signing Tanner Glass as anything other than a zamboni operator is a good idea.
3 years, 1.5 for a 4th liner in itself isn't atrocious. It's the process involved with signing such a bad player.
3 years of awful penalties, brilliant. That cup run has really inflated Slats ego...
He will be in the minors by Christmas.
Being as Carcillo isn't on the team anymore sure...
I pray you are right.
If he is sent to Hartford, is there a cap penalty?
Tanner glass takes away any joy from Moore resigning. I like tough hockey players but he isn't skilled at all. Disgusting 3 yr abomination, morons.
The guy can play at the NHL level , otherwise we wouldn't even be discussing him. Point being, he must have skills that allow him to get paid to play in the league. Let's at least give the guy a chance, never know ... Dorsett was horrible IMO, so it can't really get any worse for the role...
I certainly respect the fact that everyone is entitled to their opinion. What I find a little amusing is that people on these boards believe they are smarter than the NHL GM's.
Yes, about 500K. Anything above 925K (950K? something like that) counts against the cap if you're sent down.
Why 3 years? What kind of negotiations were there? How does anyone look at Tanner Glass and bring themselves to give him 3 years?
