I would have added Pitlick as well, but I forgot he was even on the team. Blues need to completely rework their 3rd line and create a 4th line identity. If the Blues are so set on having their 1 and 2 lines create offense their 3rd line has to be stellar defensively..

So, you guys need to explain something to me because I think I missed a rule change recently. On the PP in which we scored, they failed to call something that I thought was a clear penalty on the Avs.

At one point, we attempted a cross-ice pass. One of the Avs defenders touched the attempted pass, deflecting it harmlessly away. I thought it was illegal for a defender to touch a cross-ice pass or check its intended recipient before he attempted the resulting shot. Sort of like goaltending in basketball, with the penalty for breaking that up being an automatic goal.

Or is that just a Blues thing?
