Serious question
will Bergevin get booed at the draft when he steps on the stage?
Oh man, something to really look forward to if yes!

Huge game for the tank tomorrow.
Lindgren should get the start if Bergevin/Julien knew what they were doing.
Not likely, I think most fans acknowledge that he did a great job since the retool... We are a very young growing team with quality kids coming up, Suzuki and KK will be better, Romanov will bring alot of energy and freshness on the back end, kids like Fleury, Ylonen, Poehling, Brook, could jump in at some point in the season... I think the team will be much more competitive next year and we dont know what Bergevin will do this summer either, could have another good one...
Could you explain to me why Lindgren isn't playing every game, Weber and Gallagher aren't resting for precautionary reasons/to give the young guys a look for next year, and the priority isn't ice time for Laval players that we need to evaluate for next year?
I.e. could you explain to me why we're not trying to go 0-11-0? This is the Lafreniere draft! It's no joke! The 2nd worst record behind Detroit is definitely attainable.
Big games tonight:
San Jose vs Chicago (OT win)
NY Rangers vs Colorado
St Louis vs Anaheim
Ottawa vs LA (OT win)
we're still fighting the NYR? (they are up 7 points with 2 games in hand)
They will probably bring a Habs legend to make the pick.
We tend to go on the dumbest winning streaks so figure a win there wouldn't hurt.
What I would do vs what Bergevin/Julien is doing are two different things. They appear to really don't care about our lottery odds.
I remember when Buffalo tanked hard during the McDavid draft. They traded their best goalie and lost so much they were by far the worst team. The GM even talked about picturomg McDavid in a Sabres jersey. They lost the lottery, but got Eichel, and then Dahlin. I'd gladly take a player like those two.
Tatar injury was a huge blessing in disguise.
All you can do is give yourself the best odds. It's important to get to #2 overall in addition to getting higher odds at the top 3 picks, you can only drop to #5. I would be ecstatic with the #5 pick in this year's draft.Depends on who wins that draft lottery this year. Imagine if we have the 6th spot and the team in the 7th or 8th spot wins the #1 OA? What would we say then?

It's a no brainer to make sure we lose our remaining 11 games. I have no clue why they sent Vejdemo down and are ntinging Drouin back. Sure the Drouin that recently came back was a liability. But if he's fully healthy he won't be.
I just hope we get lucky and win one of the top 3 spots. If not, I can see us with a pick from 6-10 range. Previously said 8-12 range a few months ago but reduced it a bit. We have 71 pts and I can see us finishing with 75-80 range. I just don't see any potential stars in that 6-10 range so I'd be open to trading the pick
Lets hope management comes to their senses and rest our vets.
Hate saying this but this game against Buffalo is a must lose.
Wonder how the Sabres feel about us as well. Probably thinking the same thing.
Jack Eichel isn’t and that’s all that matters.
If Tatar and Drouin come back, we're basically icing the team that had a good start to the year - and playing a bunch of non-playoff teams except for Colorado and Toronto.
