There's is literally no benefit to keeping Henrik in the lineup.
Ya there is.
You didn't state what benefit there might be.

Assuming we have to finish at least 27th, or fourth from the bottom, to even have a remote hope of moving up to No. 1 overall in the lottery?
Unfortunately where we are 7th worst... We get a 6.5 percent chance at first overall .. 4th worst only improves to 9.5 precent
First overall would, obviously, be great, but yes, the odds will be long. If one wants to have grounds for optimism, cheeingr for a top three pick is the thing: better odds of success and still a great prospect to be had, judging by what the experts say.
Bottom 5 after tonight

Yep. Top 5 would ease the sting. Although we still have to worry about the buffoons in charge of the pick.
Wow!...just goes to show how badly you have to suck to increase your odds of securing the first overall pick....there's just no way we're out-tanking the Leafs, but still hope for the Alberta teams....but you're probably right, we're stuck in 8-9 hole for the draft.
"With the 5th overall pick, the Canucks are proud to select, from the Western Hockey League, Jake Bean."
Ha, no doubt. Or Bettman walks up to the mic... "We have trade to announce, The Vancouver Canucks trade their 5th pick and defenceman Jordan Subban to Ottawa for defenceman Dion Phaneuf and a 7th rnd pick in next year's draft"
A Jets win and Canucks loss would put us right back in the conversation for Puljujarvi/Tkachuk
Bad news for Tonight is San Jose is garbage at home.
Hopefully they score first.
