Not to rain on the parade, but even if the Canucks finished dead-last in the NHL, they'd still only have a 25 percent chance of winning the draft lottery. As things stand tonight, they're at 7.5 percent.
And this is the Canucks we're talking about. The team that's dropped in almost every draft lottery over the last decade. Heck, they stated their existence by losing a spin of the wheel in a two-team draft race against Buffalo.
I realize hope springs eternal for Canuck die-hards.......but come on.....they're not winning the lottery.
