You should check out who the Blues and Wings play too lolJesus the Caps play Boston and New Jersey next
We’re picking 9th or 10th boys
“Myers is a top 4 defenceman, he’s just overpaid by $1-2 million.”The Nucks do have a secret Tank they can deploy more often that could seal the losses:

This beast went all-out rogue against the Kings and was more often behind the Kings goal than his own.
Playing him for 30+ should do it.
The Canucks will probably be running out two defenceman who were in the NCAA two weeks ago and a below-average backup goaltender. There's a considerable chance they keep the 8th spot. You should check out who the Blues and Wings play too lol
No chance we keep 8th unless we lose to both the Ducks and Coyotes.
The Canucks Franchise appears to be awful at everything, including tanking.
Compare this sleek machine:
If the team is trying to win out the season, why are they playing two defencemen with zero NHL experience and giving their backup goaltender the most difficult starts? We are not tanking.
We are trying to win out the season.
If they keep him for next year (and I don't think they should) they should seriously consider deploying him as a right winger. The Nucks do have a secret Tank they can deploy more often that could seal the losses:

Because our other defencemen are just as bad, if not worse, and Demko recently came off a serious injury. These moves might not necessarily be “win now” moves but they are certainly designed to benefit how the team plans for next season and are not “tank” moves. If the team is trying to win out the season, why are they playing two defencemen with zero NHL experience and giving their backup goaltender the most difficult starts?

It's amazing how many scoring chances the opposing team has when he's on the ice. And quality ones. They'd clearly be better off with him as a healthy scratch. Management or coaches can't see this but the average fan can?The Nucks do have a secret Tank they can deploy more often that could seal the losses:

I think they are doing some tanking things and some win-now / set up next year things. Ultimately, they did more of the latter since January but I think are pivoting to the former for the last half dozen or so games because they feel Tochett has turned this team around, to a degree, and feel much better about next year. But make no mistake, since January, and for the vast majority of this "tank run", they have been prioritizing setting up next year's team to make the playoffs rather than obtaining this highest possible pick. But that isn't to say they don't want a high pick, and clearly they are weighing both options and trying to pursue both, but they are somewhat mutually exclusive, and its clear which option - since January - has been preferred.Moves to deliberately, obviously tank are incredibly rare in the NHL. The team is pretty clearly not trying to win.
Demko's been back for six weeks, and I didn't say they weren't playing him. They're playing Delia in games likely to be harder to win.
Massive tank day today! Could lock up 9th, lets hope for a huge detroit, cap win and canucks loss.
Unrealistic, but possible!
LB, could you give us an idea of your top 10 for this draft?Massive tank day today! Could lock up 9th, lets hope for a huge detroit, cap win and canucks loss.
