Oh well, a 3 pt game is still a great result considering Arizona was down 5-2 at one point.

The Penguins getting at least a point against the Kings would be nice too. We need the Capitals and the Penguins keeping just ahead of the Islanders or Florida to pick it up.

Having one of those close teams within the 1-8 point range above us in the standings get points is probably for the best here instead of the long shot that a ARI/CHI/ANA/CBJ can go on a sustained heater. Better to secure staying in the Top 7/8 when it comes to bottom feeder vs team slightly ahead of us.

I dont think Demko is going to come back and be lights out. Hes very much a mental/confidence relying player and he was shaken up before going out and with the rumours about wanting out I dont think he carries like he has in the past.

The actions havent followed the talk about wanting players who can play now, I think we see a couple more futures moves and then probably some lateral/overhead loss leading cap moves. If we can make good choices in the draft and we get a big hit with our 1st and NYI’s first is quality this could really help turn things around

Bad news everyone, Demko is back practicing. If he gives Canucks goaltending above .900, then they're going to win a lot more games. Martin/Delia have given Canucks generationally bad goaltending.

The key here is to find a team that will give up a a late pick for Delia, and then to have Demko and Martin alternate the rest of the way, allowing Demko to ease back into action.
