The worst teams in the universe, the Hawks, Sharks and Preds, are terrible dreck and can we enjoy it? No. Why? Because we can't get down there with them when we need to, although winning the lottery and taking Schaefer from them would be be beautiful. (And if we get the #1 pick there's none of this Hagens nonsense, it's Schaefer)

Not being snarky at all, as I think he is the consensus #1, but man, I would have to think long and hard about Misa. Maybe I’m still tormented by the EJ over Toews pick.

I like Misa over Hagens, but im still going Schaefer #1.

I completely understand the EJ trauma. One of my main all time arguments is let's not repeat the trauma of gaining and losing Stevens, gaining and losing Pronger, gaining and losing someone else, so repeating of known trauma I'm wary of ... but you know what gets me in the end? Schaefer's super late birthday ... two weeks from being a 2026 draftee ...
