Make some noise for the real MVP tonight:

Really fun pace to the game with both teams causing problems for the other team at times. I enjoyed the intensity.

Great when the #2 PK until goes 2 for 2, our 4th line gets the last goal, and our back up gets the shut out. Really a team effort lately.

Don't know if any of you recall my post from the GDT:

The Jets are actually underdogs tonight! They're paying 2.33: for the win and 3.70:1 on a 1.5 goal spread. I threw $50 on the win and $20 on the spread. Bodog's also paying 5.6:1 on a 2.5 goal spread. Just threw $15 on that.

Here's hoping!

My blood pressure was way up there in the last two minutes but man, was it worth it.

Losing hope for Stanley though. A few pizzas tonight.

4/5 Skeletons tonight, Comrie gets a well deserved shut out I guess he was the right choice tonight, Nino played well. 2nd line really good if Vladdy just had some mitts. PP still hot. Canes have a great team, Jets just a bit better. Calls went our way tonight. Some scary moments in our zone but the Canes couldn't cash. This team is on a serious roll again, 79 points is pretty good now just beat the Islanders and have a nice rest.

Excellent game.

It's actually the date on the calendar that its getting me most excited.

Last year at this time we started to get kind of wobbly. Trading for Monahan and Toffoli kind of distracted from that but those trades did not help us at all in the playoffs.

Finding out Gus, Names and Kupari have more to give is such a pleasant surprise given the Lowry injury.

They are really locked into the game plan. It's far more exciting to win now than to go 15-1 in November.

The rest will be appreciated come Friday.

I am glad the 4 nations is short. Josh, Helle and Conner won't have to play a ton extra.

As for the trade deadline, since several deals have already occurred, because the teams in the East are essentially all in the playoff race I am tempering my trade deadline expectations. I don't really care what position the trade deadline add plays at this point, just get the best player possible. It's pretty impossible to get a stud centre and a stud right handed D at this point. If we score one impact player I will be happy.

Even with @macmaroon attending the Jets only managed to attract 13,800 tonight.
That’s fuken sad.
Seriously 2 excellent teams playing fast pace hockey you can’t beat that for hockey entertainment.
Canes are a very good team imo the best in the east this game could have gone either way. Canes guilty of over passes but the goods guy passed the big test.
