I have no doubt they’ll bounce back.

But I’m concerned with Sammy. He was scared to death last game and his playoff history is worrisome.

I like Woll but he’s not ready to beat Tampa.

I know this is an extreme long shot

But has there been any update on Nick Robertson?

He was injured in December right? Been around 5 months

Would be great if he was healthy enough to be an option later in this series (games 5-7)

He has had his struggles but I like his potential scoring ability and likely chance he will be driven after seeing Knies rise to golden boy within the fanbase.

Time to put up or shut up

Screw the pooch on this one and we're in deep ****

Sometimes in life you get what you deserve, let's hope they deserve better in this game because they deserved the curb stomping they got in the first game

One game in and we're already seeing drastic changes to the forwards. This is really where you see the difference in preparation. The Lightning had everything set for weeks, and were able to withstand multiple injuries to their defense like it was nothing because they're so structured. Meanwhile, Keefe has zero clue what to do with the lines because he went crazy with trying to experiment

Holl and Gio together mixed in with the forward group of Oreilly, Tavares was awful trying to get out of the zone and subsequent backchecking. Too slow with Hagel and Point going up against them.

Seemed to be a theme with our other mixes too.
keefe will find way to pin it all on nylander

Well obviously, how else would you know that nylander and Lafferty isn’t a good fit?

:laugh::laugh:

"Trust the process" - Keefe

21 scoring chances against for Holl is how I feel I would perform if given a chance.

I would then be shown the door and asked to never return.

To be at least a little bit fair to Holl, and don’t get me wrong 21 is very bad, but we played a top tier powerplay, gave them 8 opportunities, one being a major, a full two minute 5-on-3, and Holl is our most heavily utilized PK defenseman

I think the Lightning will runaway with this one.

I'm also feeling on of our guys might get suspended.

Why is everyone picking on Holl. The three worst d-men were Gio Rielly and McCabe. McCabe is getting away with his horrible game because of his big hit on the player whose name none of us remember.

Holl 5v5 was the least of our worries on D

This is a huge point.. and quite frankly the turn off for me since the shuffling started many moons ago..

We are playing a team where every player knows their role.

Just with the Bunting suspension alone, that ensures changes to atleast 2 lines.

However.... Matthews, JT, ROR down the middle should've been the set up from the get go.

Holl wasn't good on the PK but overall was nowhere near as bad as you'd think if someone were only reading the board. Lots of blame to go around to lots of players.

All true. I just woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

I remember the Eyssimont hit.

I really thought they'd win last night.
This game is pretty much a lock, IMO.
They have to win. There is nothing else. For a team that hasn’t won a playoff series, I have no faith in them overcoming a bigger hole. Down 2-0 or a 3-1 deficit doesn’t inspire me.

Your team allowed 7 goals in a game and you have 9 NHL Dmen on the roster and still refuse to make any changes. Just don’t see the logic in that.
Funny how some of us, myself included, been saying Kerfoot, Holl and Keefe are problems and yet some kept defending them.

Anyhow. Must Win Game. The boys better show up or it is a quick series.

Seriously are you even a Leaf fan?

Pretty much this. That D core will be ugly if Hedman and Cernak are out.
Uglier than this possibility???
