This is probably the most important aspect of a Leafs playoff game.

Fully agree. I don't dislike Keefe like you do, but the insistence to not only play this guy, but play him as much as they do is a joke.

Worst D-man to play for the Leafs in recent memory. Hell even Marincin was servicable. Gardiner would at least drive play and was solild on PP

Holl is a long d-man who SUCKS and continues to get TOI as if he is a top4 D. Sheldon keefe is a moron

Cernak will probably be back after tomorrow's game too. 3 is pretty steep. I figured 1 maybe 2.

Maybe Knies gets a chance to shine.

Hopefully some good comes from it.

Bunting has been terrible for the latter part of the season. He is really bad defensively, doesn't drive play and can't play heavy. He is a benefactor of playing matthews-marner/nylander.

A "competent" coach would recognize that tavares isn't a good fit for 5 on 5 in top6 and that nylander (or marner) minutes are wasted when they are playing next to tavares.

ZAR-Kampf-Lafferty

and a "competent" coach would shoot Holl out of earth's atmosphere never to be seen again near the leafs roster too. I'd prefer to see

yes Gio sits too; he isn't driving play from the backend and is too slow. Gus takes 1st PP duties with Rielly and Lily on 2nd PP

Use the players you have to their strength for betterment of the team.

I still can't believe that second line. Has Keefe been asleep all season? Kerfoot has 10 goals on the season (averaging 1 goal every 8 games meaning high chance he doesn't score this series). JT is honestly useless 5v5 90% of the time and the JT/Willy pairing has shown itself to be lackluster defensively. With a line like that they need to go up against the Cirelli's line and hope that it comes out net 0.

Start the game on time, expect nothing and take everything.

Just win. Screw excuses screw reasoning find a way to win and crash the bloody net.

One thing to not do like they have done the last 6 playoff series is give a game away. Legit contenders can get trounced in à game but still put up a fight. Be interesting to see the look of this team next year.
