Who knows…The problem is, every other GM in the NHL knows that Matthews is not staying, so Toronto will get nothing but lowball offers. Why would Any GM give up anything of value for a guy who is 100% leaving anyways. They can just sign him for nothing in free agency. He is going to a US team, no question about it.

Hyman was better at bunting than basically everything. Also worked better with any of the big 4. Bunting is a good player but he's not Zach Hyman

How come when People are saying Matthews is the greatest goal scorer when on, or that hes the 2nd best player in the league, you don't get upset and tell people to wait and see? No one is telling anyone to calm the hype when he's on, but after saying he's not good enough and should be demoted for this game to get him going, you start getting upset at posters?

Matthews has played like dogshit. The puck dies on his stick. Zero playmaking, holds the puck too long on the PP, shoots when he should pass. He isnt playing like he has any line mates.

I like Hyman I do but bunting has lessened it and I didn't overpay for him. I can be emotionally attached to a player but something had to go and it was unfortunately him. He can be good or better but at the moment, I really don't care about the regular season, I am just watching it for fun and will truly put my "energy" at the playoffs.

He has too,seems like his talents may be a bit wasted on a shut down line. I’d like mikheyev to take his role and kase to get a chance in the top 6 or even drop someone rn for him. He looks real skilled and deserves a chance like Ritchie got
