No penalty shot because not 2 strides behind or whatever the distance is? He was in complete control of the puck.

1, 3, 14, 14... Lets relax.

Price has 7 top 10 nominations

Subban played badly last year, not on MT or on anyone but him. Hes still not gonna get a nomination this year.

Badly? Ok lets not go there. If not of the injury he would of finished number 1 in points for us

Well, context matters. Put Crosby or McDavid on the 4th line with AHL players and give them 10 min. a night, no way they lead the scoring race.

Galchenyuk is a skilled player and would be better used with skilled players. He was near PPG to start the season, FFS.

Something happened to him after the injury that normally doesn't happen. He was PPG, and normally after an injury you get to go back to your old spot... there is a long standing tradition that you don't lose your position in the lineup due to injury. Danault had replaced him and now Galchenyuk wasn't playing with Radulov, and was playing with guys stuck in massive slumps. It was unfair and again I blame MT.

I hated how MT used him, but, at this point he almost needs an offseason reset to get out of his own head. The difference with Crosby and McDavid is that they make other players on their line better. Galchenyuk hasn't really done that to this point in his career. In order to play with the better players he's been required to earn that time, and certainly in the case of the MT era, it seemed overly punitive and unfairly biased against him. The return from injury added insult to injury, and definitely ****ed with his head.

He can't change the past, but it certainly seems like he's sulking, which helps no one.

You can be 12 or 54 if you are not doing something you love you never gonna have the same success as the guy who is working 10 times harder than you.

The Islander board would gladly welcome you.

Then again, I'm not sure even they're as sold on Halak as you are.

He's not sulking. He's being misused, he's recovering from injury and his confidence is shot.

I knew this would happen with Galchenyuk when he got moved to LW. Now he's completely ineffective offensively.
