This series has been closer than last series.

Our forwards really aren't getting outplayed.

The difference so far has been that Ned made a bad play while Vasi hasn't, and we had a defensive breakdown which led to a goal against.

The level of play has been incredibly close overall

I agree with every single thing you said, and yet, our best game doesn't seem to be more than a minor obstacle for them.

It's like we're wailing away with our fists at a tree, the tree still doesn't have a single mark on it and all we've gotten for the effort is bloody knuckles. We need a chainsaw but we don't have one at the moment.

It was ugly in the one game I went to vs the Predators. It’s a little different than I remember two years ago.

I really hope our fans aren't fighting one another or other teams fans.

I'm not kidding, that shit is one of the reasons I haven't been to a Panthers game in years. Way too many drunken douchebag know-nothings ruin the fun.

Win the next one and we're right back in it. Not losing hope yet. This feels different than Boston, where they were just plain better.

The tone in the fanbase right now is not that of a team that lost consecutive 2-1 games. Hopefully the team has the mental resilience to stick with the plan and grind this thing out.

I could be wrong, but I feel like we get better bounces in game 3 & 4 and the guys come back to Raleigh tied.

If we lose next game we are toasted.

I have feeling that urgency they played with at the end of the game might show it's face in game 3. Cards stacked against them. Nothing to lose. Etc, etc. That's my hope anyway.
