Not to mention Tampa’s depth is so much better. They have the likes of McDonagh, Stralman, Johnson, Sergachev, Palat, Gourde, and even guys like Joseph are playing well. Simply put, Tampa bay has the best team in the world. Tampa bay does the best job drafting in the world. Tampa is in a position to contend for the next 8 years and likely make the playoffs for the next 15. I don’t think people realize how good of a job The Tampa Bay organization did. Rosters don’t get his good often, if ever.

The 1983 Phi Slamma Jamma Univerity of Houston basketball team was thought to be unbeatable - now all we remembers Lorenzo Charles dunking Derek Wittenberg's errant shot and Jimmy Valvano running around center court looking for someone to hug.

As someone said earlier, games aren't played on paper and championships just aren't handed out because statistically you're better. Win a Cup and then ask where the team ranks on the G.O.A.T. List.

I think Tampa has the most well rounded roster currently. But the 07 Ducks, 08 Wings and 2010 Hawks would give them a solid run for their money in a 7 game series. 09 Pens were pretty damn good too.

I'd say without a doubt in my mind that the 07 Ducks were better.

Playoff success is usually not a reliable way to valuate players. The sample size is so small. What if Carlson has bad playoffs this season, does he suck again? If you only look at playoffs you could easily argue that Tyler Johnson is way better than both Matthews and McDavid.

Nobody is denying the quality of the 2002 Red Wings even though they only won one cup when they brought in all the additional hall of famers.

The Red Wings won back to back cups in 97 and 98. Of course adding those HOFers helped, but it's not like they were underachievers before. Shanahan, Lidstrom, Yzerman, Fedorov, Murphy, etc. all won multiple cups with Detroit before 2002.
