If Bourque and Eller can both get going together, that could be an interesting duo. Bourque could also play the RW where I think he is much better.

For sure. When Bourque played at his best last year he was one of our better forwards for a while. He has to use his speed and size every shift though. He's effective when he's playing a north-south game and creating space. When he stops using that advantage you don't even notice him on the ice.

Type of guy that needs that big push every now and then, and I'm not sure MT is the right guy to give him that push.

Not setting my hopes too high for this game so I may just end up watching NFL after 1 period.

@LavoieRenaud:
#canadiens George Parros in, Francis Bouillon out vs #blackhawks

Guaranteed victory.

Win tonight and the fan base will let MT and MB off the hook for another night, but does anyone expect us to win tonight? Need great tending obviously and Special teams will be bigger than ever.

Yeah he does need that proverbial kick in the ass it seems. As for Therrien not being that guy maybe, but I know I wouldn't want him yelling at me.

Checking the GDTs on game days has become a MUST DO for me. Can't stress enough how awesome you guys are.

Keep up the great work!

Geez this is a weird GDT (in a good way, of course!) Very creative!

Unfortunately I'm expecting a loss here, but I don't think it will be a blowout. You have to figure the gameplan from Therrien will be to contain the other team's top players (a defensive strategy) and hoping for a PP goal or two. They're just too powerful to be contained though, but I guess we'll see.

The key for us, if we want to win the game, will be to have great goaltending. Otherwise we're screwed.

Playing a Parros who can't fight is as useful as.....fill the blank. This is what happens when you HAVE to do something instead of thinking about winning. You could have call up as insignificant a AHL player could be, at least, that would be a tremendous lesson especially against a top team like the Hawks. But no...we'll send Parros in it. Anyway, he will surely end up not playing....which, again would have benefit more a rookie than him....

If anything, the only team that will have some success against us tonight is their 4th line...

The impact of losing 19 year old Galchenyuk with our roster is crazy. My gut tells me the Habs will win this game, but my brain is telling me otherwise.

3-2 Habs in OT
