You wouldn't know it hearing the takes in the thread about his contract extension.

I'm starting to think we should all stop making quick judgements on any moves made by Kevyn Adams. What once seemed like an internal nepotism hire now seems like a shrewd move. He's earned some rope based on what he's done so far, that's for sure.

Eichel will make Sabres fans forget Eichel pretty quick. And Thompson is already established as a star, or at least as a very, very good player.
Healthy Eichel was still a better player, but we may never see that version of him again.
