It was as a rebound off the stick. He has to push it out farther with force (or get his glove on it and not give it up.

Goalies with poor numbers often do because they have bad rebound control. Blackwood gives up a lot of shaky rebounds because he is often late to getting in position and doesn’t absorb shots.
