Signing with Syracuse still might be his best bet. His NHL rights still don't expire until the off season, and TB are the most invested in him.I'm assuming Webster won't be offered an ELC and will just sign an AHL deal with a random team
Ike Howard in a tough spot right now.
Michigan State is the 4th ranked team in the NCAA. Western Michigan is 13th.
Duke is a year older and has been through this twice prior with great Michigan teams. Howard hasn't played in an NCAA Tournament before. Howard was all or nothing last night, either creating offensive chances or losing puck battles/turning it over for Western Michigan O-zone time. He'll learn, but State got away with one yesterday with Augustine being poor and their lineup looking off for most of the night. Should be a great one between two huge rivals who have never faced each other in the NCAA TournamentDuke looked better than Howard in their games as well as UM looked better than MSU. Should be a good rematch tomorrow.
can he come and play for Crunch?Huuhtanen's season ends as Jukurit are eliminated in game 6. He didn't have a great postseason production wise with only two assists but he did make a lot of people mad with his antics.
So when does he come to America? Inquiring minds want to know.Huuhtanen's season ends as Jukurit are eliminated in game 6. He didn't have a great postseason production wise with only two assists but he did make a lot of people mad with his antics.
Maybe @Felonious Python can answer this.can he come and play for Crunch?
There were some rumors of Swedish and Swiss teams being after him, which doesn't make any sense to me. We should get him over to Syracuse next season. His skating is really the only thing holding him back from becoming an NHL player and we should start getting him used to the speed of North American hockey. So when does he come to America? I don't really know, offhand. It's not been super common for Europeans to finish the year out in NA. There are possible immigration complications involved. The two guys I can think of coming from Sweden lately weren't try-outs. They're listed as being reassigned from their Swedish team, to the AHL, by the NHL team. (Anton Wahlberg and Jonathan Lekkerimaki). Both of those guys were signed in the summer of 2023, and Huuhtanen doesn't have an NHL deal yet.Maybe @Felonious Python can answer this.
