Mann had his moments, wasn't bad.Big difference from last season's start with Dobes and Strauss Mann
Sorry but he was bad, that's why they signed Kaskisuo who calmed and helped DobesMann had his moments, wasn't bad.

Better players all aroundI think the team is more structured defensively and that helps a lot. The team kept breaking down defensively last year.
Dobes is a much better prospect! That's not far fetched but let's give Hughes more vetting.
It's very early, but it looks night and day right now, to me at least. Even the general effort level has been much better.I think the team is more structured defensively and that helps a lot. The team kept breaking down defensively last year.

You won’t get 4 raw rookies arriving at the same time at NHL levelYeah, it would be nice if Beck - Mesar & Tuch - Xhekaj both graduated as duos.
Just need to move on from Armia, Anderson, Dvorak and either Evans or Gallagher (if possible).
I think he decided to not stay in Laval. he was away from his family the whole season last year.I actually liked Kaskisuo and was disappointed that he wasn't brought back.

Oh...Vincent said the difference between coaching in the NHL vs AHL is that he will use the kids in those situations whereas in the NHL you go with your key guys.
Jr has the Evan Joanness (but meatier) circa the 1980 look. For those who know the local culture. The level of nepotism during RDS intermissions is cringe with Leroux Sr. and Fiston interviewing each other.

Good to see that intelligence in a very tight game.

If you surround rookies with good leadership you end up with the 86 Habs. Perfect blend of great leaders and young players. It's been done before. Toronto brought up 8 or 9 rookies the year they drafted Matthews and made the playoffs. Montreal had 6 rookies the year they won the cup in 86, and a couple more players that were sophmores.
Too bad all the Habs veteran forwards are useless at everything except Gallagher. If you surround rookies with good leadership you end up with the 86 Habs. Perfect blend of great leaders and young players.

Gallagher might not be a leader but he leads by example - always giving 100%.
