GDT: Switzerland vs Austria and Finland vs USA Exhibition Games

The depth isn’t so good with these teams, but their top guys are excellent players.

Yeah, Belarus should definitely be in WJC. But also Latvia would have been this year at least on the level of Austria with their -01 Dinamo/HKR players. 02s doesn't look that wide class for Latvia but would still have liked to see Raivis Ansons, Harijs Brants and Raimonds Vitolins there.
 
Pfeffer trying to do too much, then gets a dead leg and he stands around the net unable to defend. Pfeffer si one of their better d and they need him to be better than that at key times. Hey was pretty good overall but they did not need a nutmeg there.

Yeah, Austria's win last year was a fluke but can you do, it's ancient history now..

competitive game...i enjoyed it... Austria need to watch a little bit of film for the PP. They were the better team tonight in my opinion. It is as bland a Swiss team as i can remember...have to go back to the Y2K version to see one i liked less.
 
That Austrian team is far and away the worst team I’ve seen at this tournament in years
 
What's the story on #8 on the Swiss team? Which NHL team has his rights? Big, talented, and fast. I liked his game.

None of the players have played an actual game of hockey in like a month and they were arguably the better team today. I know cognitive bias is one hell of a thing but you should handle it better. Maybe rewatch Slovakia scoring double digits on Kazakhstan or something.
