Forsberg didn't play in Salt Lake.

He wouldn't have played (as the third goalie), but the guy has done so much for Swedish hockey (like winning a gold medal) and he has a great season so far for Frolunda, while so many people want to see him fail.
He should have gotten the recognition by the third goalie spot.

Nonetheless, it's a scary team.

I think you answered your own question, Mika made the team because he´s a great skater. Something Holmström isn´t to be honest, sure Tomas is tough but I reckon Gustafsson wants to play another style of hockey. Marcus Nilson has never played under Bengt-Åke and I don´t think he´ll ever will, every coach has their favourites as we all know. Jörgen Jönsson is quite obviously a favourite of Bengt-Åke, but I´m not certain JJ will play center this time.Predatore said:I feel bad for Holmström, he really should have made it. I do not see what speedy winger Mika Hannula is doing on the team. There are certainly better options over seas (not only Holmström, but also Marcus Nilson and Jonathan Hedström IMO).
What I like, however, is that Sweden will likely dress three offensive lines instead two which has been the case in the past. The Sedins will work out very well on the third line.
