Maybe a trillionaire's Domi. The only thing Domi does better than Marner is take idiotic penalties from time to time.
The takes in these threads are so bad.
It's an inconvenient truth for some that Marner and Domi are cut from the same cloth.
All one has to do is compare Matthews with Domi to Matthews with Marner since Domi has been on the team. In terms of both
On-Ice and
Individual Rates Matthews performs better with Domi. It really isn't particularly close either.
The results speak for themselves.

5-on-5 this year Marner has
7 goals and 34 points while Domi has
3 goals and 15 points.
Are the 4 goals and 19 points difference between the two worth an extra $10M a year? Domi has played the majority of the year on the third line with league minimum replacement level players while Marner has been a staple on the top line with elite linemates. Add in the fact Domi actually sticks up for his teammates and it's clear who is bringing more value for their pay.
Domi is Marner-lite whether you like it or not.
