I'm hoping LA can get Matthew Beniers...but if they can't wish for the Expansion Seattle Kraken to get him!

The fact the coach hasn't taken Broberg out of the game is disgusting. Guy is still trying to dominate the game while severely injured because he's the captain and can't just quit on the boys. Player of the game in game 1, sits out the second game due to injury, can barely move last night and tonight the same. Poor bastard.

As an Oilers fan, I wish they'd just take him out. I've watched every game of his in the SHL this year and watched him effortlessly skate end to end and then be the first guy back as well. Probably the second best skater in the Oilers system after McDavid. Watched him play a beautiful game in the first one of the tournament.

Watched him limp through the lobby as well before the Austria game he missed. Dude is so injured right now. Sit him for f*** sakes.

Now Ferraro is telling them to take out Broberg.

Ray is completely right. This is a situation where the kids long term best interests need to take over. One of the coaches needs to be step up and take him out of the game.

He’s obviously trying to be a warrior and play through it, but he’s nowhere near his usual self and these injuries could get worse.

Caufield needs to start making the simple plays so he can get open for the bigger plays... he's gonna walk through two defenders?

I just don't know if Caufield gets tunnel vision trying to shoot the puck, but I don't know how you explain trying to skate through the middle of two guys into the center of the ice before just getting stripped like that.

Maybe you can stop hoarding centers and let another team have him?

Try taking a winger instead.

LA will keep hoarding centers so that you'll have to come to them if you want one. Blake is an evil genius.

I hope the Swedish coaching staff reads the players the riot act, tonight. They really were awful. Can't pass. Can't shoot. No effort.

He took the lift while the others walk the stairs!

If he didn't played yesterday they might had won the game.

Not even just long-term but also short-term.

It’s not like this is an elimination game.

I'd be okay with that if they would actually trade them. At this rate they're just going to have 10 centers and 2 wingers on their roster, with the centers rotating who gets to play wing

USA is playing simple, disciplined NHL-style hockey. Getting pucks in deep and managing possession with high-percentage plays.

Sweden is playing more like a CHL team and repeatedly trying low-percentage breakouts and carrying into the zone which hasn't worked all night.

This difference compounded with Broberg's management is all on the coaching staff.
