ECHL is doing 10 minute 3-on-3 OT's as well. Figure they are soft testing it in lower leagues, might see it in the AHL next.

He was incredibly noticeable. The issue is Reinhart couldn’t keep up with him and Marner refuses to drive the net.

Also Toews not being able to finish robbed him of a highlight reel assist.

Completely pointless putting Mack and McDavid out together in OT. Mack completely refuses to do anything but attack 1 on 3 (and obviously he's good at it), but it's why McDavid and Drai are so damn good together in OT in the NHL they use each other.

They need to keep McDavid and MacKinnon apart. Both like to rush it up the ice and mack can try to do too much by himself sometimes.

McD is fluffy; Sid plays tge green bf game; I love it.

Backed both defensemen way back into their end and threw the puck back to a teammate moving up ice with speed. They had no time to close the gap and Marner wound up and let everything go in that shot. All the while Crosby was curling back up ice to stay perfectly on side for the oncoming rush. He knew exactly what he was doing. Perfect play.

I don't think its about keeping up, its more like they have zero chemistry. McDavid goes all over the place and his linemates don't know wtf hes going to do, or where hes trying to go.
