Stu played well in the first, looked like he had in the first couple games and then in no time the old Stu we know emerged. If Stu stays in the lineup when Trouba and Bogo get back there would be something really wrong!

Agreed 100%. He's pretty far down the depth chart IMO. I don't see him getting another contract after this year.

Im just waiting for Chevy to do something. Anything ?? :help:
Either a coaching change or a trade, just do something. Can't keep going into games, playing the same, doing the same things and expect different results. Most nights we only have Ladd, Little, Buf, Enstrom, Pavs going. Tonight for the most part, LLW took off, and we had a couple new guys step up. But never on the same night can even 3/4 of the team be going. 1/4 a game if we are lucky.

Is anybody else getting really sick of always being so many GP ahead of all the teams we're chasing?

It feels like dating back to when things started heating up last season we've been consistently 2-3 games ahead of everybody else.

A 2-1 lead and a power play with about 5 minutes to go and you can't protect the puck in all zones? Gimme a break.

Inexcusable to say the least, your number one line out with 2 of your 3 best forwards and your 2 best D man on the PP, your up a goal with 5 minutes left and you get caught deep up the ice, NO EXCUSES the Jets just friggin SUCK!

I like the guy from Manitoba in the Wild GDT saying that the Jets are easy points then they've played to three straight 1 goal games and they had to be pretty much literally given this win before they took it. Why people in this province have a tendency to hate the hometown team is beyond me.

This road trip is make or break. I no many have our team written off. But a huge road trip could go a long way to putting us back in the mix of playoff talk. We need to do what the rest of our conference has done to the east. Devils, Isles, Flyers, Rangers, Panthers, Lightning, 6 very winable games for us. I feel we need to take at very least 8 of the possible 12 to avoid a disappointing trip. But anything more then that 9-11 points, would be absolutely huge. Devils, Isles, Panthers are all pretty much must wins. But we all know how are team plays when playing a weaker opponent who we believe we must beat.

What he's saying isn't untrue. It's not exactly hard to get us into overtime, and while we have been winning some games in the shootout we're sure as hell not likely to win in regulation. Would you be happier if he had said 'easy point'?

Well it's pretty much been this teams calling card the past couple years - score a goal, give up a goal within 1:00. Have a lead with minutes to go in the third...give up a softie. Unless we're ahead by 3 or more in the last five minutes you just can't relax at all with the Jets. They seem to be fundamentally incapable of locking a game down at all. It's painful being a fan of this team...but I can't stop!:cry:

To me an easy point would be you were in never in any doubt of losing the game, I don't know.

Yeah if we win all 6 of them we'd only have to post maybe a .650 win percent for the rest of the season to maybe squeak into the post season! Ain't no thang!

Great game by Halischuk, his best as a Jet.

I'd rather we just lose our next five games and hopefully fire Noel.

Even if they win the majority of those games you have to remember the Jets have played several more games than anyone else and are still so many points out of a spot. Aside from that I can't in all honesty say the team is even better than the Stars or Avalanche, the Jets deserve to be right where they are.

Then that is coaching is it not?

I believe so, tho I thought Noel did good with matchups today

my biggest complaint re: usage would be putting Olli and Kane on with Toby and Buff to start OT. I mean that's just a brutal waste of offense from the backend

If Harding were playing, I'm fairly certain we would've seen the boys shut out haha. They were absolutely atrocious overall today.

I believe it is. However, I'm not entirely convinced that the roster in its present configuration could play a disciplined defensive style, regardless of who was coaching them. There's only one way to find out...

Agreed. IMO the best case scenario for Noel is to last out the season. The only chance to keep us all from starting to discuss draft order by X-Mas is to make a coaching change sooner than later.

All coaching for me. What systems do we have, I can clearly tell watching us play we have very limited, if any systems. If we do they are bad ones, a lot of times I find myself thinking, Frolik, Ladd, Halischuk all played defensive roles for playoff teams, 2 of them for championship teams, why are they in bad spots in our own end, making bad plays in the neutral zone. Don't get me wrong, all 3 have been great for us, I just watch them in neutral zone and our end, and think no way these guys played like that on there respectful former teams.

What a ****ing joke of a game. The Wild are a **** bag of a team IMO and they will come back down to earth. Unfortunately the Jets just suck. Plain and simple. I'm drinking my sorrows away tonight.
