I don’t know if Jatkola can be blamed for either goal against. Poor clearing attempts were the cause of them, imho. Then again, I’m an Old Goalie so I’m known to be biased

This part not true. I think if there are refs from other countries available, then they should be used. Otherwise people will complain regardless of how good the ref is.

If Lambert got benched for that shift, that was deserved. Terrible giveaway in the offensive zone, then controller disconnected in the defensive zone while his guy scores the goal.

That's the thing though,the fans always have a problem with it, when a Canadian ref is doing a Canada game the whining begins from a lot of your fans, you can't expect it to be any different when a ref from your country refs a game involving Finland.


People are going to be on you just the same when this happens.
