Anyone who takes a weak ass penalty like that would never take them again for me. Boot the f***ing ball and force the keeper to make a good save. Stop trying to outsmart them
So agree. I don't understand. As hard as possible. No matter if they go the right way...how you don't just deflect it....Geez middle and hard...

Also don’t understand how there were only two Canadian defenders back and 3 Uruguayan forwards on the tying goal. They were playing like the game was over

Horribly disappointing because they were the better team

Yeah, we were the better team. We need to learn how to time waste and we needed to park the bus.

Johnston should never have been subbed off. Back line was kind of iffy all game, though.

If David had started instead of Oluwashei maybe he scores on one of those epic chances.

Overall, it was a tremendous effort, though.

Well, both tournaments are almost done. A 4th place finish is an excellent result for Canada.

Both Finals are tomorrow, (Sunday, July 14th):

Euro: 3 p.m. - Spain vs England

Copa: 8 p.m. - Argentina vs Colombia

Not the results we wanted, but definitely a result that we did not expect when taking a step back. Canada not only showed that a Concacaf team can be competitive, but showed that we are the best team in North America and that we will be hard to beat at the World Cup group stage.

Young and hungry. This loss hurts, but it's part of the growing.
