Worry about that shoulder injury. How long will it take to recover? Reading he won't be ready for camp. What is long term prognosis for a shoulder subluxation ?

I'm not, not sure, he probably won't, it's obviously good if we are pursuing him.

On to other stuff. Big day.

Briere in Montreal is a perfect fit for him. Big trade between Dallas and Boston. Dallas got a younger forward and Boston got a more experienced player as well as a bunch of cap space. They will be comfortable even after the dumb contract that Rask is going to get (since Savard is probably on LTIR the rest of this contract). We couldn't really compete with what Dallas did get get Seguin.

Toronto eats a big contract in Grabovski.

And we're waiting for tomorrow.

Oh and HF get rid of that f'ing ACE hardware ad and ACE, because of that ad I will never buy **** from you again.

Make a run at Grabovski

too while we are kicking tires. Weiss & Horton would be outstanding. I am still optimistic as JD&JK said they would add scoring. Love the fact that they don't intend to give up assets to get it either. We will have to open the checkbook, but if you intend to win & draw packed paying crowds this is the way to go while keeping that hardworking backchecking core in place and BOB in net.

Filppula AND Horton? Where's the money coming from, Eklund?

http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog/Eklund/Filppula-to-Columbus--And-more/1/52569#.UdYV6T7Epsg

Word is the Blue Jackets have been positioning money because they have their heart set on two players....Valtteri Filppula and Nathan Horton. It has been widely reported that Horton visited Columbus yesterday and Filppula played for GM Jarmo Kekalainen during the lockout.

I have been reporting for some time the Jackets were priming to make a it splash....this appears to be it..

Every lazy rumor monger in the world is going to link us to Finnish free agents. Because, you know, Kekalainen.

And besides, 8 mil. in cap space isn't enough to sign both.

Unless we trade more assets for more 1st round picks. What say we go into every draft with a minimal of 3 1st round picks

Obviously, I don't know this, but I think he was just saying those are the 2 guys we want. Not that we want them both.

All indications are Nathan Horton's visit to C'bus was very well received. Expectation is #CBJ will extend offer shortly after noon on Fri.

I was thinking the same thing. Any ad that is constantly annoying (like this one), achieves the opposite of the desired effect.
