Sudbury Wolves 2024-25 Season Thread, Part III

Big time

12 pts in 37 games

Brantford probably didn’t want to part with him though and paps, like cooper wants to make his team better while having a crap ton of picks
He was expendable after they got budnick. Hamara, Budnick, Protz down the left side with Radley as the 4th lefty

I wouldn’t listen to that blow hard. Sandu was more of a prospect at the point they traded for him. he’s just bragging that the Gens made a decent trade and using that as the bat that beats down Sudbury. Not a lot of class in that guy to be honest. Robert’s is a much more known commodity than Sandu was.
Appreciate that

Oshawa can benefit from trading for players earlier on in their development curve, they've been pretty consistently among the best in the OHL at developing talent. Good for them.

Hopefully not too much crying from Wolves fans on the price if we land Mews...
People are allowed to dislike trades, especially if they move a future stud like Blonda to flame out in the second round. We'll see what the price ends up being. With Roberts and Mews added, I think they still need to add at least one more high end forward if they want to contend

Absolutely, but you know for fact they will flame out in second round? Let the chips fall and see what happens.

Boat load of picks, Jackson, Chitaroni for Mews and Foster would be interesting.

Hoping Wolves keep Blonda, as do we all
Jackson and Chitaroni for mews would make sense.

Deadline at 12 or 3 I forget

First rumored price I've seen

If it’s only 6 picks and Jackson he must’ve really wanted to come to Sudbury because he’s worth way more than that especially with him coming back next year

We'll see what the picks are, if true, Jackson is a really solid 17 year old d-man, and if it's 6 2nd/3rds, that's still a great haul for Ottawa. We'll see what happens next year with the UoM rumors in the mix.

For better or for worse, this playoff run will be Papineau's legacy. If he's going all in they need to add another forward or two.

A bit surprised if they don't get a veteran backup as well, but clock is hitting midnight.
