Delic is a first line player for me. He doesn't have the high end skill to be considered an elite player but more a perfect complementary to play with skilled players on the top line. I don't see another player on the team who makes a more consistent impact on the ice every shift.

not a great game by the Wolves, they let Gaulton hung out to dry.

Defence got exposed greatly in this game, Barrie had their way most of this game. Wolves Defence majority of them are one dimensional not helping much on the offensive zone. Saw many opportunities for them to take a good shot on net or create scoring chances but seem limited in their decision making. Barrie's defence contributed majority to the score sheet. We need a 5 man unit working together in the offensive zone not just leave it to the forwards. I saw Bruce fanning on shots multiple times, need to grow this aspect of his game.

I would have liked to seen Street in the lineup especially against Barrie who like to mix it up.

I agree 100 percent on Street. I said that when I saw the lineup.
This is also the type of game that Klinkhammer would have been helpful in. Lay a few guys out early and set a tone.
I'd like to see Gaulton again. I saw some promise there. For only a second career start I thought he had some strong moments.

I’ve been saying it for 3 years Delic doesn’t belong on a first line but some guys here….
I think we could improve on Delic with several other OA's out there. Delic takes some bad penalties, skates past rebounds instead of remaining on pucks. If you watched Wakely score the second goal he doesn't stop after his first chance he stops or goes after the loose puck and is able to poke it in. Our players are one and done too many times.

I find Villeneuve skating away from loose pucks as well. To many times are guys circling out or away from the play after a shot on net. They need to drive the net a lot more.

I agree as well Street should have been in the line up last night. Barrie is a big team and being the second game in two nights in their barn you know it was going to be physical. Wolves had no answer and looked very weak and small last night. Just exposed so much last night. Was not impressed with the effort at all. I know Barrie is very strong but the Wolves were making horrible mistakes in coverage. Barrie carried the puck in deep all night and simply threw it back to the trailer who was often open coming down the middle of ice. Nobody tracking their man.

I don't blame Gaulton that was a pretty tall order to ask for his only second game. But I thought he held his own considering 8 goals against.

But for me Delic has been underwhelming as an OA and his face-offs are awful, Villy has not been giving enough offensively, Walton as much as he is scoring on the PP we need him to net drive and stop going perimeter wide and shooting at the net from the goal line. Pharand is snake bitten when he gets his chances and then is all over the line up. Not sure where he fits. Since his concussion McCoy just hasn't been the same player. Having a hard time moving the puck out of his zone causing turnovers. As I said in an earlier post our older players are more the issue. I expect our young players to have tough games and make mistakes but they are more visible because of how poorly some of our older players have been.

Was Street hurt? If he was a healthy scratch against Barrie that's a concerning lack of planning by the coaching staff, especially have the tone of Fridays game

Both Delic & McCoy did not take that next step forward as OAs, a little disappointing imo. Wakely makes all the right decisions.

This team legitimately has worse discipline then last years what is Barney doing with this team. Feels like a player is getting ejected every game.

Well they definitely displayed some resiliency today. Great job on Chucky! And how about O'Dell one heck of a game today. Wish he would be in the line up a bit more. Simple d-game.

As for the Attack. George saved them all game and McCue plays like Coughlan but gets no penalties. Dirty player.

Could have easily been the best game by two goaltenders I have seen in years. George could single handily win a goal medal for Canada at the world juniors. The number of shots that this team records in games versus the number of goals is ridiculous, better address this quickly.

I think in fairness there was nothing wrong with teams’ discipline with the exception AGAIN of Coughlin. My blood pressure took a hit with another shit for brains play by him in the third. I was at the game last year and he was ejected in that one too and wasn’t that his second stupid penalty? Where is the accountability!? You’re playing an outstanding road game in a three in less than three and you’ve got a clown like him doing his best to lose them the game. He’s expendable and is damn lucky I’m not the coach. He hasn’t even been much of a factor recently. Man thats frustrating, had they lost they should have made him hitchhike home.
Okay rant over. What a gutsy well played road game after last nights’ debacle. Wouldn’t have been close without George but I must say Krawchuck is looking pretty good and I’m very happy for him. Another .500 weekend with two roadies. That’l keep them in contention. Solid effort, with Musty back the goal production will be going up. No reason to be sitting out Street either.

Coughlin’s a clown. No excuses. You’d be singing a different tune had they lost the game on his shithead penalty.

nice bounce back game, Krawchuk full marks, many key saves.
Yes true but let’s face it without George it’s not even a game. Best goalie I’ve seen in a long time by a long shot.

It seems couglan has returned to his old self again after the two additions. He should keep the same mentality where he was putting up points. No matter where he's playing in the lineup

Of course we all would singing a different tune if they scored on his major! You included. However don't make McCue look like he' an angel because if he was wearing a Wolves jersey he would be in the box just the same. Every team has the rat including Barrie. They got away with lots too last night. You can't fart if you're a Wolves player you get a call plain and simple. And if you shart you get a major.

Main point we got the 2 that's all I care about!!!

Also most of the majors that we have got were reversed by the league after the game. Both side on the broadcast didn't think coughlan was getting tossed thought it was a 2 but again he's a wolve.

What will this team look like after the trade deadline, will they still be able to compete this year? Hard to get to excited watching a rebuild. Moving Musty, our OA’s and possibly a few vets what can we hope for?

Kitchener off to a great start. Some say the will sell for a rebuild. It's a fine line. They hope is you get up and coming younger players, where extra ice time they might put up better numbers. And of course of higher picks to add to your draft capital. Ideally you keep certain vets for the year and next.

Missing the point. Ya they won and no I’m still singing this pissed off tune. Type of inexcusable boneheaded play that could lose a playoff game or worse a series. Ask Barney how he felt about it. Your teammates are working there asses off and you do something that defines unnecessary and stupid. Yes it happens sometimes but my main gripe with him is he is a repeat offender and isn’t getting it. It will catch up with us if he doesn’t cut it out. He started the season more disciplined but has fallen back into his old ways. He would have been singularly responsible for the loss which have been a travesty.

Ya ya here we go, let’s try to be above that everyone against us mentality. I’m sure it’s a league wide conspiracy to single out and screw Coughlin. By the way, not sure where you’re seeing several majors reversed, from what I see it rarely happens so much that the long delays are a joke. Play the game get the name. Don’t put yourself in that position. A ton of players play a hard nosed gritty game without constantly crossing the line. Thank your lucky stars their PP is struggling and are PK is excellent.

Simply put Clayton has had 3 automatic slewfoots reversed, digi had 1 reversed as well, there has been a number of them this season.

looking at the roster that is coming back next year, you have to think Wolves selling at the trade deadline or next season will be a real struggle if they don't.

Also considering while we have extra picks this season, we have currently have no 2nds next season a 3rd, a conditional 4th, 2x 5th, no 6ths etc, no draft capital for the year we will be worst. Need to recoup that.
