Gotta say your commentary team makes me chuckle. Made the game a touch more enjoyable than usual.

Will say they sorta went at Musty which I couldn't believe haha. But honestly loved it. Think they were bang on in criticizing him.

U have some good young players. Walton in particular looks like he'll be a dominant player in the coming years.

Best of luck the rest of the way 🍻🍻

I call this a “Learning Curve Game”. Young and experienced players learning from mistakes and how to play connected for a full 60. It became apparent early with several odd man rushes the Sting had a great game plan for us. The mistakes started when we were trying to be too fancy in the house, one extra move resulted in turnovers. Not shooting the puck, or missing the net when shots were taken. Villy must of forgotten he has a letter on his jersey as he seemed disinterested playing with the kids. As a result he didn’t hustle and hung onto the puck way too long and tried to do too much on his own. His shifts at times were too long. I’m confident his leadership will prevail and I see this one not so good game as a one off.
Good things: Kids played more. Saw more confidence and aggressive play from Dean and Doucet. Blonda is a special talent and is learning through some mistakes, over time we are going to be treated to watching a Makar type DMan. Chucky came in and was real solid. Good for him. Our PK is still unbelievably good and young guys are a pleasure to watch.
Gotta get re-connected and ready for Sunday in NB.
Keep the faith. Sting have a good team and a great coach and although we lost the game we learned how to be better.

This may be the worst anthem I’ve ever heard…embarrassing…yikes lol
You may not realize the singer was a local radio morning host who has cancer and wanted to face her fear of singing in public and fear of her battle with cancer.. GREAT job Mel if we could all face our fears with the attidude and spirit that you displayed tonight the world would be a better place. We'll just pass his remarks of his ignorance of the matter for his comments.

Yikes. Tough loss to the Sting. Didn't get a chance to watch because A) still recovering from Wednesday night's hot dog debacle and B) I decided to go check out the Sudbury Indie Theatre shadow cast of the rocky horror picture show.

It was pretty good in all honesty. A bit risque so I wouldn't advise bringing the kids lol.

On to North Bay! Would be nice to win on the road to have some momentum for when the Batallion come to town on Friday.

Anyone notice that Villeneuve did not have an "A" on jersey yesterday?
I noticed that. Not sure why, but that is 2 games in a row now. I am hoping they are just doing some sort of rotation with him and Pharand. His first game back, he had a letter and Pharand didn't. Villeneuve brings it every shift, and is a clear leader from what I see. Pharand is from Sudbury, though. 😆

Would be a rotation I would think there are 3 with A's on their jerseys. Hopefully McCoy is back tomorrow

Ones probably got an A on the road and the other gets it at home.

What's the story with Musty
Heard some rumblings at the arena that the Ice Dogs are in on Musty.

Kevin He and 3 seconds. Musty can be close to home, play hockey and behave however he wants. Get it done!
I highly doubt that Niagara is going to trade their leading point producer with over a goal a game and two points a game player plus three, 2nds for a player who walked out on their team.

Might have been some sarcasm. Two Euros (apparently) on the way including the Molnar guy and someone else whose name escapes me. Might remember if I heard it again.

Chovan? Or the other import?

Oh and no surprise to me but another Major given to us only for there to be no suspension. Seeing it live I was surprised they reviewed it. Also they didn't show a replay of the hit so I only had the instance to go by

Sorry Nemec was out other import pick

Right I think it’s fair to see the person didn’t realize that.

So it sounds like any deal for Musty includes imports because our GM drafted two that did not report. How incompetent is that.

If Musty is going to Erie I'd imagine they may merge that and the Molnar deal. As for the 2 imports for this year I think they were drafted partially with an eye on next season for them with Dvorski potentially coming back.

With Chovan eligible for this summers draft and Nemec eligible for the 2026 draft. I wouldn't be surprised if in the next couple weeks we have Molnar and Chovan as imports for the rest of the season. In Chovan's interview with Ben Leeson after the draft he felt the Canadian league would help him progress. Then when Molnar leaves next season you have Nemec and Chovan.

Look at 1 day for each dog you choked down, I found baking sofa and water got them out pretty quick. Just don’t stroll to far from the can.

Dvorsky has 3 pts in 3 games in the AHL, don't think there is or has ever been any shot he's coming back.

Chovan is playing well in finish U20, don't think he's showing up this year either.

I'd love to be wrong about Chovan, but also don't see either of Chovan or Nemec coming over before they're drafted, they want to have the option to jump to the AHL at 19 I figure like Dvorsky, if they are indeed top end prospects.
