100% disagree with this post. As the Rolling Stones song goes, “you don’t always get what you want”. This kid has a goal of becoming a pro hockey player and wether you believe it or not, holding him accountable and making him a better leader and teammate is more important than shipping him off for a bag of practice pucks. Good on the Wolves for holding they’re ground and not catering. If he was the ideal player with no warts, he’d be playing elsewhere and the Wolves would have a 08 prospect and a boat load of picks. But they don’t and Musty continues to be a healthy scratch.Off ice issues are to expected when you keep a player who was a known problem last year, who made it known that he didn't want to be here but you refused to trade ultimately forcing him to play for a team he doesn't want to play for. Not sure what anybody expected. I am actually surprised he is playing as good as he is. That being said, he should have been traded, even with the lower value.
Just for once I’d like the player to own their own sh1t.
If he can’t make it here because his feelings are hurt, he’s doomed as a hockey player and he’ll never reached his goal as a NHL pro..
