The team (tonight) definitely lacks sandpaper so he is sticking out. From what I've seen, I think he'll get exposed once regular OHL lineups come back.

Edit: He just fought & he can throw em'.
Thats part of they reason the brought him in He can throw em.

Their working with him on other areas of his game . One being edge work/ skating.

I hope he succeeds.

Kids played hard and fast. Too me an obvious result of coaching. Relentless on ice. Liked the young guys tonight, Dean, Doucet, Chitter, Henderson, Clayton, Booth. They aren’t big but the finish every check and continuously pressure puck. Also liked Horgan, DiGi and Coughlan. Blonda is special and will be a star in this league once his game matures but not many 15yr olds (late birthday) can do what he does.
DeAngelis is showing the kids how a Pro plays. The trade for him this time last year may go down as one of Paps best trades…
Although we lack the overall talent to start the season, I love watching these kids play…

Some really talented players. Entertaining game to watch. Refs were busy handing out Un-sportsman penalties. Hopefully Chucky forgets this game and moves on

The game is on Eastlink if you have that. And yes, that same announcer is back and unfortunately we will have to put up with that person all year again. :)
Man you’re not kidding. Lots to like. Downside was Chucky struggled, goaltending still a huge question mark. Love the way Street stepped up! Team already looks better coached.

It was an entertaining game for sure. I think the d will get better when McCoy comes back. I really liked Booth, Dean and Doucet all physical would make a good young line.

Street should for sure make the team as 12th / 13th over a 16 year old. Let the young players get ice time in jr A and bring them back up when you trade off in Jan.

I was there, they defiantly set the bar high. I hope they keep this up for the years to come!
Last year was pretty dull. Picked them up at the mall with a couple players who were less than enthusiastic. Probably had been there all day.

I wonder if the Wolves would look at reacquiring Chromiak from Kingston - sounds like they have 3 Imports and he's the odd one out. Would probably be very cheap and we have 2 import spots open.

DeAngelis McCoy
Jackson Chromiak
Ewles Blonda
Bruce

No way they go after Chromiak IMO. He hasn't improved at the rate some thought. Some Kingston fans were not happy with his play.

But I do think they need to add on the backend for sure.

They did good in this deal

Sudbury Wolves have completed a trade with the Kingston Frontenacs. The Sudbury Wolves receive Barrie’s 2025 4th round pick in addition to both Kingston’s 2027 2nd and 6th round picks in exchange for Slovakian defenceman, Jakub Chromiak.

Nathan Villeneuve no longer on the Seattle Kraken roster. I did verify on the Seattle Kraken website. Rekhopf and Goyette are still listed but Villeneuve is not. But, in a previous tweet of players sent back to their junior clubs, Villeneuve was omitted so who knows. We'll wait for confirmation from Seattle. Doesn't matter really as Villeneuve isn't eligible to return until October 13th anyway as he is still serving a suspension from last season.

I wonder if he needs to be eligible to play for the Wolves in order to start the 6 game suspension Clock? One could argue, how can he serve his suspension playing for another team? Not sure how that works….

I would think he would need to serve the games once his return from NHL camp. Clock starts upon his return. That's my take.
