I didn’t even think to ask for a discount, I was so caught off guard they asked me to move in the first place, having been a season ticket holder since before the renovations to club seats, and was a billet family for years prior. If they call again to ask, I will definitely ask for a discount or a free seat for the year.

So based on the rules, locals in the Sudbury area that don’t have children playing in the Sudbury Minor Hockey Association has no chance at attending. A bit disappointed for sure, but also understand Elliot Lake residents should get priority.

Watched the San Jose vs Utah prospects game yesterday. Musty looked good. Took a few big hits but got up and kept on playing. Looked good play with Smith and Celebrini on first PP, and was used mostly as a net front or down low option. Musty is bigger and stronger this year and he was engaged in front of the net and didn’t back down.
Also watched DeAngelis in Blue Jackets vs Sabres game, he was very good positionally and got into the games only scrap with mister Cheveldayoff. He held his own. Sabres looked stronger specially in first period. Collins also looked good for Blue Jackets.

Hopefully Doucet can get into the game on Friday. Would be nice to see him in game action.

Great news fans. KMAC is back as a senor advisor. The one common demoninator in 30 years of mediocrity

i remember posting a year ago that they needed a real ast gm who was full time and could push back a bit on the gm and was told i was in the wrong, he was a good guy.

he never left sudbury, thats not good for the team, bring in someone to run the draft and push back on paps,

Rumors is that it was kmac who pushed for the Vanfleet deal, probably the worst trade of Papineau's career and this is the guy you want as an advisor.

agree. I don't think KMac made the decision to bring in Giroux instead of Punnet. It may not even have been entirely Paps decision. VanVliet was seen as the next best option; the price paid, that is on Papineau.
Rob and KMac felt they needed this type of player

“We wanted a big, strong left-shot D who could come in here and really help us out,” Sudbury’s GM said. “When we looked around the league, Noah Van Vliet was at the top of that list.”

back fired bigtime.

I also don't think KMac as an advisor will have much impact on the day to day decision making on the hockey team. He probably went back to his old position taking care of the billets dept.

Because the wolves brought in Giroux, the team could not acquire the strong left shot Punnet who could have really helped out.
