Signing everyone it seems. Maybe the wolves place several picks on a U18 team like the Petes did following the 2019 OHL draft? It can’t hurt having affiliates near the wolves team, coaches, management.
Maybe they learned their lesson last year from having to ice an incomplete lineup for seemingly half the season.

Who have they signed more so than any other year. Not sure if I'm missing something.

2022-Villeneuve, Walton, Gaulton, Walton.
2021- Musty, Assadourian, Mania, Derbidge
2020- Goyette, Delic, Konyen, Collins, Hoover
2019- McCallum, Stillman, Larmand, Anania

Seems like they are on the same pace of singings. Like I said did I miss something?

The 5th & 6th picks were not signed? I did not watch video, I saw ‘welcome to the pack’ and thought the players were signed.

Do they always sign them all that early? Greyhounds usually only sign 1 or 2 before main camp

I believe it’s been pretty much three prior to camp for Papineau. Perhaps this year is four to accommodate the twins.

Why not sign them. Younger guys were our better players last season.
Now draft an import goalie. Not sure if to many of a tenders wil report to camp now after coule year after there draft year

They are just welcoming to the organization for being drafted. Not signed at this point for those mid or later picks. Of course they always have a chance to impress at camp. But then again the Wolves can only sign so many 16 year olds.

Wolves will have some extra bodies by training camp that are signed. Look for some bodies to be moved for picks. As well look for the Wolves to make a move for an overage goalie IMO.

There are many OA goalies, some should be available at reasonable cost. I hope the wolves go that route and draft an ‘05 import D.

Has Zulich got any influence to land Kulich in the import draft since there is only 1 letter separating them?
There once was a guy named Zulich,
Who tried real hard to get Kulich.
Before the ink was dry,
He said Bye-Bye.
Off to Hunterland,
He ain't Fulish!

When you watch last nights OHL and see the defence, it tells how far the Wolves are away from contending. I think they are a forward or two away up front, but a long way away on defence. Time will tell what will happen.

The wolves could possibly get a potentially very good ‘05 D in the import draft, and trade for a potentially very good ‘05 D; then potentially contend in 2024-25.
I’d like to know for certain Papineau’s reasoning for not selecting a D prior to round 4 or 5 and not utilizing a single 3rd round pick in any of the previous four drafts. It’s definitely a unique strategy.

good bye Dunc Hello Derek? have they even interviewed anyone for the assistant coach position?

there were rumours that dunc would be moved to an assistant (he makes what most assistants to evidently) and theyd hire a more seasoned coach to push them over the line, no clue how true it was, but it looks like its dunc again next year.
