Yes, this is unbelievable

Based on the selections, or lack of, it seems like they placed a super high value on being 16 years old. Musty was 2nd among 16 year old wingers in points per game. Weak case, especially compared to Goyette or even Konyen. There are a few head scratchers for sure. 3 Greyhounds selected to the all star teams but not our best player (Rory Kerins). And how does Musty make it on there?
who cares, its not like they have any baring on anything, does goyette get a bonus or something, does he get drafted higher? seems silly to complain about

There were 5 (‘04 & ‘05) born among the 1st & 2nd team all-rookie teams. Seems fair since there was a double cohort of rookies.Silly comment to me, it is strange that he was a finalist for the EFA (Emms Family Award)- Rookie of the Year vs Cam Allen, then not to get selected for any of the rookie teams. Maybe awards don't mean much to you, why have them then? Goyette should have been on at least one of the rookie teams, if awards are being held on this, numbers speak for themselves in his case. Goyette 73 points, Ritchie 45 points, Beck 51 points.

GMs thought Beck should be the [‘04 rookie (centre)] over Goyette. That is not unreasonable
I don’t know why Cub; maybe there was a very split decision on eastern conference ROY, maybe it’s because they believe Beck was/is the better player, or helped his team win more than Goyette. Whatever the reason, it should not be upsetting as both were worthy of consideration imo.So why did they pick Goyette as a final candidate for Rookie of the Year?, doesn't make sense to me. Again Goyette stats better than Beck.

GoyetteI don't know why is a weak argument, sounds like the OHL messed this up to me.
It seems there was only one spot for the ‘04 born as all-rookie team centre. Evidently both Beck and Goyette were good as they are rated 2-5 among OHL eligible for the NHL draft. Both were worthy imo. I don’t see why it is controversial to award the spot to the one that contributed to a winning team having the top +/- at the position among rookies and top FO% in the entire league by a wide margin.Goyette
Led his team in scoring by 23 points
Led his team in goals by 11
Led his team in assists by 6
Led rookie scorers by 14 points
Led rookie goal scorers by 3
2nd in rookie assists
The fact he did not win RoY was a sham in itself, but the fact he also was not voted to even be one of the top 2 rookie team centers? Hilarious. Hopefully, Goyette is pissed off and comes back to prove folks wrong.
Sure both and I am sure Dario would have no problem dishing out the 2 million that it would cost to get them here.so...would you hire Andrew Brue net(?) and Derek McKenzie or only one, release Duncanson? keep him as an assistant? I think if we don't jump at this opportunity we will be spinning our wheels and be making the same move one year later.
what motivation would brunette have to come?Sure both and I am sure Dario would have no problem dishing out the 2 million that it would cost to get them here.![]()
None! He was up for coach of the year. He will get an opportunity somewhere!what motivation would brunette have to come?
