Our coach lost his marbles pulling the goalie with 8 minutes left. Then to have Robinson on the point who is so slow. Wow Wow Wow!!!

C'mon, it almost worked. Even the announcers liked the call.

You would of jump out of your lazyboy if they would of tied the game.

Hope to see them play with a little more urgency on Saturday.

The fact the Wolves pull the goalie with 8 minutes left in the game and have dylan robinson out there shows how useless Duncanson is.

Not to mention not starting the hottest line together. Did that vs Barrie and they lost. Didn't vs Missy and they dominated offensively. Windsor game had no flow or chemistry from the get go. No clue what Dunc is doing but I do know that this league is above him.

Can't wait to get Collins and Chromiak in there. The turnovers and lack of hockey sense and gap control also the abandoning your goalie on several occasions is concerning to me. Robinson I have absolutely no use for. He offers nothing other than a good turnover or getting caught out of position at least once on every shift. Toure was the best dman out there. Would be nice to have him in the line up with Collins and Chromiak. Mania sees too much ice is still careless and causes a lot of turnovers. Anania is hot and cold. Holmes was not strong tonight and Bishop is very green. I feel for Ranger!!!

Oh and once again McCallum takes a nice timely undisciplined penalty when we were on the PP. Honestly the guy has a brain the size of a pea I believe.

McCallum benched after undisciplined penalty(positive)! Konyen hurt or benched? Holmes got danced a few times(can’t happen)and now he’s Captain needs to lead like a Pro!! Musty looked good with Delic and Goyette. Ranger was peppered in the first. Anania played very good. Goalie pull with 8:30 left…..I have no words….

I like Anania's game. Toure excellent. Holmes needs to make more of an impact on the game. Mania needs to tighten up his defensive game

Ranger has now faced 120 shots in three games!!! Most in the league and by a large margin on most goalies in the league. That should tell you something!!! Defence needs to be way better and players need to be more disciplined. PP's kill us. Also our defence need to protect the middle of the ice/slot its incredible how many times the middle of the ice was exposed and Windsor was able to have a clear path to the net.

Still early but if the wolves can pickup a solid dman and a scoring forward it will surely help.

Musty might have to come off the 1st line to help the second but the other's seem like checking lines so far. That wont cut it

Your not going to get alot of scoring from that 3rd line nor the 4th and DeGrazia right now skates like the wind but zero i terms of production.

This is why the wolves are projected where they are to be season end

Try and trade for a scorer and a solid dman without hurting development from others.

Was at the game. Wolves had a good second period. That’s about it. Spits out played and out worked us overall and deserved the win. Can’t blame the whole game on Mccallum this time. Nobody showed up to play. Coaching is just awful. Never giving these kids a chance to build momentum with 30 second shifts. Pulling the goalie with 8 mins left was just embarrassing. Musty does not deserve an A. Looked like a young un organized team tonight. D Robinson. Worst player on the ice. Going to need a better effort from everyone the rest of this road trip

First goal lost face-off 4 guys first couple of steps are towards bluline, nobody gets there Assadourian gets back but loose play in front rebound goal
Second goal turnover by mania and blueline leaves a 2 on 1
Third goal lost face-off and ranger maybe screened?
4th goal Robinson shoots it into the pads and it's a breakaway into the empty net. An underated skill of a defenceman is getting pucks through. Not sure about pulling goalie at this point but it's a gutsy call. Smells of desperation though.
Not all that impressed by comeback. Like barrie GAME It was probably bad play that got you in that spot in the first place.

What are we doing here guys. Our fanbase is the best in the league. We were so excited with the young prospects at camp and the pre-season. As soon as the season starts we abandon our strategy and continue to play the same players that couldn't perform last year. It's the same story, with similar results. So sad.

These are the issues I see:
1. Coaching and management is the worst in the league. No systems and nothing being taught. No strategy to develop the young talent so that we can compete in the near future, because I truly believe we have the young talent. Any other staff in the league would play these kids more.
2. Does anybody want to play D on this team. I see 4 or 5 rushes a game from Mania alone and always get's caught in the O zone because he cannot skate or is out of shape. To top it off, he is on the ice more than any D on this team. He is atrocious. We aren't going to win many games when faced with 40+ shots a game. Coaching needs to teach D.
3. I have not been able to understand the love affair with Larmond & McCallum. I'm seeing the same things that I saw last year. These guys can't score - never have, never will. They will have the odd good game, but not nearly enough to make a difference. Larmond is a competitor, but lacks scoring and skating at this level to succeed. I like him, but not nearly enough to warrant the ice time he gets. McCallum is someone I have no use for. Their time has passed, especially for a team that finished at the bottom last year playing those guys.
4. We NEED to play the young kids. They need to be able to make mistakes and learn from their mistakes. With the exception of Musty and Mania, all other young players take a back seat. They broke up our top line last night just to give Musty every opportunity to succeed on the wing with Goyette and Delic. Musty's production based on the amount of ice time received is very underwhelming. He has been a disappointment, but has a leash that's longer than the distance from Sudbury to Buffalo.

Most importantly - Dunc needs to go.

I think your right. Not a time to panic at all. They are kids remember. Give them some time to adjust and bond as a team

It seems like it's become a tradition in the Wolves' organization to wait for the team to develop and management keeps waiting for results that don't come. By December the panic starts to surface because the team isn't jelling.

Maybe it's time to be concerned earlier in the season considering the state of our coaching? I'm not sure we move quickly enough at times and we wait too long for the team to come together. The season moves pretty quickly!

Yup!!! Exactly.... Ottawa is off to a good start for a team that wasn't expected to be that strong. Coaching does wonders. And this is a team that just dealt two 19 year old d men.

Papineau started off wrong by not dropping Robinson from the roster and keeping Hoover. That way the team has an open OA spot to fill with one of the few good ones that remain on the market. Be it a forward or another d man. The thing is everyone says the same thing each year... let the team grow, give them time, they are young, it's not their year, it's only the third game of the season, blah blah blah.... When the team starts the year in the bottom of the conference its hard to overcome as the season progresses. At the 10 game mark if we are 3-7 then Dunc should be let go. Trade a promising young player that may or may not turn into something down the road(we have lots). And lose one of the 19 year old underperforming drafted players or Degrazia. These guys have done nothing consistently and Paps has to know when to move on instead of holding on until the deadline and overpaying for something. Zulich wants results and a playoff he needs to be very aware where this team is heading and start demanding more from his management team. At some point the business part and the fans deserve better.
