Bulldogs with another big win in the Bay tonight.
Tough match up for the wolves tomorrow night. Krawchuk with the start.

It must be nice to have that kind of strong organisation. You win a championship, sell off everything the next year, and are still good enough to be competitive.
Hamilton schooled the OHL in the art of the one year rebuild this year. They pretty much managed a re-tool just by trading 5-OAs.

Do you have confirmation that he declined a first or second time? If so how do you this? Just wondering since a kid who played well at the WJAC-19 not great but decent with a 3.66 and .899 save percentage would not job all over the opportunity to play in the OHL. And if he refused a second time then why wouldn't the organization trade his rights then? No signed commitment to a US college you would think he would take the OHL option to play with Chuck and gain the experience and see where it goes next season. I'm quite surprised his agents would not take the OHL option and education package that comes along with it. Someone is a little insulted here. The Wolves organization or Morrow and his family. But an easy solution is the trade option. Wonder if that was explored?

Ex military buddy is part of Wellington franchise in advertising. School package offered wasn't impressive I'm told. His plan was aways ncaa. His choice. Pap supposedly told him he was to short last summer. Enough of Morrow, on to the next. Will brassard finish the year or walk?

Just listened to the FAN 590 and Ron McLean was on talking about Hockey Day in Canada (tomorrow). McLean spoke about players expressing themselves with fashion and he brought up Cameron Lizotte from Falconbridge,On. Cameron played minor hockey for Nickel City and was drafted by the Pete’s and traded to Erie for a Memorial Cup run. McLean mentioned that Cameron was a fashion designer and designed a jacket McLean will be wearing tomorrow for Hockey Day. Brother Marco Refs in OHL and are great people and come from a great family.

Always enjoyed watching Cameron play in the OHL. Marco on the other hand is likely the worst linesman in the OHL, I shake my head everytime i see he'll be working the game.

Yes, and they are a whopping 3pts ahead of the Wolves.
They shouldn’t even be in the playoffs considering. You expect them to lead the conference? Cmon man give them their due. The Wolves went to the final in 2007 and sucked hard the next year and have seemingly been on a perpetual rebuild since!

Really, I thought he was half decent. Maybe my attention was always on the poor officiating??

Good effort and nice to see a 4th line of guys willing to do some heavy lifting in games. Really refreshing to see that after a 4th line most of the year with Mauro, and Assadourian which accomplished absolutely nothing. Krawchuk played a game as it should. Nice and tidy and positionally aware. So much to build on from this youngster. There will be games still that he may get lit up but the reality is he will have more like tonight as he gets more starts and gets to know the league. Better than what we have seen the last three starts that for sure.

Walton puts on 10-15 lbs and continues to play the way he does tonight the sky is the limit for him.

Tough task coming Sunday as North Bay has now lost two straight and you can bet your bottom dollar the Wolves are prime for the picking. If they can just play solid and keep it close that will be a win for me. 4 of 6 points this week once again I will take. Anything more is a bonus.

Great game! Wonder what was up with the chirping at the end of the game though. Weird it was a clean game but things must have went sour or been said somewhere as the Wolves just stood there around centre and chirped the Bulldogs all the way until they left the ice. Not sure I can remember when I’ve seen that.
Anyway great for Walton to take advantage of his opportunity. One player‘s misfortune is another’s opportunity. You go from limited ice time to playing on the first line! He should have been getting more ice anyway.
Really liked our game tonight. One thing for sure, Mackenzie has them motivated and buying in. Also noticed the Wolves are a physical team with their size. I like this team. I think they have some pretty decent depth. Great to see what Coughlin can do with some ice time and a new opportunity. McKenzie has shown confidence in him, he got his first goal tonight and he’s doing very well. Both he and Yearwood are bringing a good physical element. Solid game for Krawchuk, he didn’t have to be outstanding, as the Wolves played very well defensively.
With North Bay not exactly on fire right now, it’ll be interesting to see how Sunday goes.
One point behind Hammer town and now with a game in hand and more separation from Oshawa. Great to see everyone stepping up. Shout out to D Rob. Good game again tonight, looked like the big bird at times.
Go Woofers !

Attending this evenings game I will say it was the most structured performance of the year. After giving up 36 shots on a sloppy win in Niagara, we got back to better defensive hockey in our zone. Better not perfect. But Bulldogs only had 25 shots to our 50. Loved the lines tonight. This is a team that has 100% bought into DM’s system and each player has accepted their role. When we play fast, like we did tonight, our skill is hard to match! Team win tonight and every point gained while 2 big guns down is positive. Don’t focus on the result of Sunday’s game, focus on the system and the results will take care of themselves.

Don't disagree with comments . With a structured system and players willing to perform within it, the dressing of 11 forwards and the juggling required to make it work did not seem to have the impact it had under the previous coach.
Also agree with WJ Coughlan and Yearwood while not skilled bring more than AA and Mauro and combined with better play from Boudreau, the bottom of the lineup is just better...
Dylan Robinson is always an adventure isn't he. Also better in the new regime.
One comment on the end of game shenanigans. Just zs the horn goes Coughlan flips the puck up into the pants of bulldog. I noticed this a few times last night just after the whistle the wolves player would hit the puck into a bulldog. Not a hard shot or really blast it to hurt just flip it or slid it 8nto the feet. Also maccallum after one false face-off spins around like he's trying to pull the draw back and swipes the bulldog in the back of the head. Just latecenough to know it was intentional. As they say in soccer, that is prime shithousery right there.
