Sudbury Wolves 2022-23 Season Thread (Part 3)

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. He cracks me up when he refers to everyone as a “### pounder”. Ie “175 pounder”

Opportunity and fit; good on Assadourian seizing his opportunity in Niagara, he was not going to get top six and PP TOI with the wolves. Same with Lardis now in Hamilton.

Totally agree, but he was never cracking our top six so the trade was necessary in order for this to happen. Very happy for AA and his new situation but also very happy to get a 2nd and 3rd back for a future player…glad it’s a win, win situation. Nobody was wrong!

With Musty and Delic down he would have filled the scoring void.McCallum is a heart player but he has stone hands and scoring chances go to die on his stick

DeGrazia. I have liked (poor choice of wording) preferred to have seen the wolves go with best available OA D to help the wolves move up in the standings and be more competitive in the playoffs.
I wasn’t in the Assadourian booster club, but thought he might do fine as C/RW with MacCallum or Konyen and the 3rd line LW of the day.

Exactly and he did nothing for our bottom six. So yes win win and will come back to let cobra aka billet parent, agent, daddy know how our 2nd and 3rd round picks turn into from this trade. Possibly an integral part for our run next year.

Can all AA posts from this point forward be posted in Niagara’s thread. We don’t need a constant reminder of a player who no longer is active on our current roster. Would be like discussing Stillman on here or Holmes etc…

Anyone find out of Musty is back tonight? Was he practicing yesterday. I know some of you attend practice regularly maybe you can pass along if he was present or not. Much appreciated.
