Sudbury Wolves 2022-23 Season Thread (Part 3)

Happy for the lead but this team is a penality machine

They need to have players with a higher IQ. They're good for awhile five in five but once someone makes an error in coverage, the parade to the penality box begins. Coughlan gets a penality, when he had no reason to join a scrub. Why?

This experiment with Musty so late in the season playing point I don't know. I hope it works out but right now his decision making is suspect.

Might want to stay out of the box. D Mack doesn’t send Musty for his interview…maybe not too happy. Speaking of Musty he’s got to stop being a turnover machine, throwing the puck around blindly. The whole team often does that instead of shooting.

Can you remember when we weren’t a penalty machine? Season after season.

Oh yeah, that’s the Brassard we know and love. Cant say I’m surprised. The parade to the penalty box continues. The team does everything they can to make it as hard as possible on themselves.

Mania didn't help. He's having a bad day. Now McCallum with another bad penalty. He's not one of my OA/s next season and it's just because of penalties. Teams IQ is not good. Keep playing like this you don't deserve to be in the playoffs.

Brassard is lethargic! He has no life to him in the net! Unless there is something Ranger did off the ice that we will never know, GM messed this up big time

Same players with no discipline, McCallum, Larmand (when not suspended).

Ranger no better. Yes Papineau big egg on the face with his goaltending this season. Wonder if it costs gom his job.
 
Take a seat in the middle of the bench Mania! Why turn into the 3 players coming at you when you are the last man. Terrible today. His attitude has been the pits lately.

Brassard has no life to him.

PP has killed this team way too many times this year.

Lack of discipline today and now playing desperate. They will be lucky to get a point out of today.

It’ll depend on his contract status. Can’t see Zullich letting him go if there’s term left

Unfair statement related to McCallum. Different player last 2 plus months and very disciplined.

He was better for a bit, but he's reverted to his old game, 2 points and 8 pims in his last 6 games.

Brassard has to be the worst goalie I've ever seen between the pipes for the Wolves; I don't think it's particularly close at this point.

No, sorry there is no 360 to be made. This team is what it is whether under Dunc or Mackenzie. It has no goaltending as I’ve been preaching all year. Combine that with no discipline ,no power-play and you do not have a winning formula. Winning the next two games won’t change that and they certainly haven’t done that yet

I meam it would be nice to see hit the net once in awhile. Ideally youdl like your OA to have some sort of impact on the game.
